Moving Service Transport was very easy to work with. It was seamless to arrange the moving date, communicate with Scott, and estimate the price. On moving day, the movers were incredibly professional, did everything I asked and were efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I’ve dealt with many movers but A2B moving company is exceptional in their standards. Crew members who helped me yesterday are my real Heroes! They were polite, quick and very hardworking. They got to my apartment early and the job was done in less than 3 hours (there was not really much to be modest but yet it needed time for a full pack-up). Nothing was scratched or dented. I had a very small job and they quoted me a rather reasonable rate than compared to other moving companies I was in contact with.
These guys were great and their rates weren't high. They were on-time, careful and very professional with the move. Also being able to find a appointment online was a huge plus for me.
1. The rate is great. They charge a fair amount and they currently offer deals. 2. As a start up bussiness, they really work hard to earn their reputation. We were given a quote of about 3h working time and they finished the job under 3h30. During this time, they worked non stop, even skipped lunch. 3. They are professional. Some moving companies wouldn't bother wrap up all furnitures, but they took the time to take care of our belongings. I should also mention that they work incredible quiet. I'm sure our neighbors will appreciate it. When they enter the new apartment of ours, they even got a protective carpet ready for high traffic areas. After the work, they took out every piece of trash for us, leaving us a perfectly clean living space. 4. Extras. One thing I'm absolutely thankful for is the wardrobe boxes they provided. My husband and I ended up using four of them. May I add that the ideas of matching outfits assured in a very subtle way for us to be able to recognize our movers with ease. BTW guys, you both looked good in red. -------- My husband and I started moving smaller object and boxes by ourselves before professional movers came in. If you do have a lot of things like us, it may financially be more friendly to you. But other than that, I'm confident in concluding that this moving company definitely took the pressure off of our mind. Their work is nothing short than perfection.
Main Movers was extremely professional and prompt from the move I contracted them from the Bay Area to Los Angeles. On-time and actually below the quote they gave us. They had a professional contract and were very efficient. I would highly recommend there service. They actually came out and inspected the house before moving us I had a very bad experience with a mover before these guys (A company called "A better Moving Solution") This other company was a complete FRAUD and there account was been taken down from Thumbtac. My mistake with a "A Better Moving Solution" was that I did not request a copy of there CA drivers license. If anyone ever tries to use a very small cut-rate organisation that does not use there own truck, make sure they send you a copy of there CA drivers license. If your looking at this Mr Deon Bell ... your a FRAUD who should be held criminally liable. He uses Rocket Lawyer for his on-line contract ... another mistake I mad was I did not do a reverse lookup of his IP address, it showed the contract was initiated in Modesto and not Sacramento like he claimed. Kudos to Thumbtrac for immediately deleting his account. He uses the name Deon Bell and his Burner phone number is 1-916-280-8074 ... He will try to go by another name so be careful. He also uses the following email address LAMDEONBELL@GMAIL.COM and one other phone number.

I want to thank Southwest Movers and Joe and his crew for moving me. Probably the best price I found after researching a few companies and everything went well with no problems. It was a flat price and everything was included didn't have to worry about the time or paying for packing or no other surprise fees. Will definitely use them again.
I really love the work he did with my computer desk. He was able to assemble it and on a short notice. His rate was also great.

Action Movers showed up 15 min early to park and form a plan for moving us. They were all very sweet and professional, taking great care to wrap our belongings for the move. The house we were moving into had new floors and they placed everything on the plastic cover we had put down so the floors wouldn't get scratched. We would absolutely recommend them to friends and use them again!
Moving can be a stressful and hiring movers can be even more so. I've had a couple bad experiences before, so I was a little unsure what to expect on thumbtack. Ken wasn't the first to reply to my request, but of the half dozen responses I received, he was the only one who wanted to see what we had to move in person. I had been considering another mover, although that fell through when that mover became unavailable for a two week period without any prior notice. Ken's quote was also more than reasonable, and I felt comfortable with him, so we scheduled the move. Our time was not specific (sometime mid morning). I don't know if that's typical for him, but it didn't bother me once we knew when he was on his way. Ken doesn't text, so you'll actually have to pick up the phone to reach him. I think that's probably better than email as well. I like texting, but I think Ken's old-school about that. Ken showed up as promised with a second mover, Theo. His quoted rate was for two people, not per person as with the other quotes I received. I later found out Ken (and Theo) are involved in scouting, which explains the ethics I saw Ken display before, during, and after the move. I was extremely pleased with the work Ken and Theo did. They were professional and amenable to all the extra requests I made of them. We ended up using them to help move some additional items, so the move took pretty much all day. And at the end, Ken didn't try to pad the hours or demand extra money (or any kind of tip--which I gave them anyway because they deserved it.) Ken charges mileage for his truck (fuel costs at 9 mpg) and return travel time from the origin of the move, which is pretty standard fare. Only one quote I received didn't do this, but their hourly rate was almost triple. You do the math. He also did not require me to commit to a minimum number of hours (although this move ended up taking more than 9 hours.) They weren't the fastest movers, but they weren't the slowest, and they were careful with our belongings, which I really appreciated. What's the good of hiring movers only to have your things damaged in the move? We also had difficult stairs at both the from and to locations. Ken doesn't charge extra for stairs, etc. It takes longer to be careful negotiating the tight corners, but that's to be expected. They put blankets down on all the railings. I think they might have run out of blankets, but I'm not sure. One suggestion: Be sure you've got everything packed and larger pieces accessible. They're used to moving furniture (I think Ken specializes in moving antique and high-end furniture) not packing boxes. Part of what slowed us down was that we were not completely ready for them, and we kept adding new items as they became ready to move. Still, Ken and Theo just smiled and asked what else we had. I would highly recommend Wood Frog Transport to anyone looking for a good mover. Ken made our experience a positive one, which may be the very first time that has happened for me in dozens of moves over the years.
We hired Best moving van lines to help us with the move in February. My main concern was that the company had some bad reviews online. But they really were efficient. The movers just meant business. Nothing was overlooked by the 4 movers who came to work on such an excellent hourly rate. Even their vans were quite reasonable priced to hire. I was very impressed to see how all my beloved pieces of furniture were wrapped perfectly and loaded in the vans. They delivered on time as well. Bad reviews or not, I will definitely hire them again.
Richard overal did a good job. Although i thought he wasa a little slow at times, he took it upon himself to fix something that needed fixing and surprised me in coming up with a fantastic solution to a project i needed done but couldn't figure out how to do it. Some of his jobs included putting up a mesh screen, fixed some barbed wire, put up some lights and installed some drapes. Thank you.
Gardening, cleanup, electrical, cement, carpentry Dave was on time. No job was too small. I was very happy to have his service. Great handyman and has a wide range of skills.
My son and I used Mod Movers to pack, load and move us to Sacramento. I was so impressed with the professional service the men provided. The price for the complete move was far less than other moving companies offered me, and it's a flat rate, no matter how many hours it takes. That's what first sold me, even before I knew how professional and skilled my moving team was. I move a lot, and I've always been quoted for a few hours, but it'll take much more than they say it will and I end up paying much more than I thought I would. After they moved me Mod Cleaners came in to deep clean my home in Carmel, wash the windows and shampooed my carpets. When I got back to turn in the keys to the landloard, I received my deposit back in full because the house was so clean and completely ready to be rented. I'm very happy with their service and will use them for all future moves in California.
