Introduction: When I was nine years old, back in 1955, I saw, in person, Howard Hill hit a quarter, tossed into the air, with an arrow shot from an 85# longbow! (See the Oct/Nov issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine.) I have been shooting ever since. My son, now, 18, is a state champion traditional archer.
The style I teach and love is NOT the Olympic target style. Howard Hill trained the cast of the 1938 "Adventures of Robin Hood" starring Errol Flynn as well as doing all the actual shooting for the picture (no special effects!). This is the style I teach. We will meet at the Pasadena Roving Archery Range in Pasadena to practice this ancient and wonderful art.
I also teach plein air painting to those who love to paint outdoors.

Really great archery instructor and very nice. He took his time to make sure I got down the proper way of holding and shooting. He made it a fun experience and is also a great resource if you want to continue on with archery.
