FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer several different training packages and options. These includes private lesson packages, puppy sessions, problem solving sessions, a jump start program, board and train, plus more. I give military, senior citizen and rescue dog discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If there are severe behavior issues, the first thing I like to do is provide my client with a free in-home evaluation. This gives me the chance to get to know the owner and learn more about their lifestyle with their dog, as well as their training goals. I also gather more detailed information about the dog and his/her behaviors as well as evaluate his/her temperament. I also demonstrate my training methods. From there, we can decide together, which of my training programs will best fit your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At age sixteen, I opened my first pet sitting business. At age eighteen, I attended my first dog training school while I worked full time as a veterinary technician. I went on to study canine behavior at the American College of Applied Science, and I have attended numerous other dog training schools, seminars and lectures over the years. I continue to expand my education, as dog training and behavior modification are always evolving.
