- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Cost is based on square footage for tile and carpet. Upholstery is by linear foot for sofas and loveseats and per piece for chairs. I run specials and always try to give the customer a competetive rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically go to home to estimate or do a walk through prior to beginning work to assess for spotting, traffic lane build-up, etc. Or tile type and any possible damages prior to beginning work. I explain what I am going to do, if I anticipate any concerns, then I get right to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Videos/demos and many years of training in the Marine Corps. They say every Marine is a basic rifleman but what they don't see is that each of us is also trained in cleaning by hand and with floor machines for vinyl and tile similar to the ones I use now.
