I originally hired Stephen for a tiling job but after working with him I eagerly asked for quotes on several other jobs I had on my contractor and even husband's "honey-do" list. Stephen is very responsive and thorough and went to great lengths ( and at least 4 vendors!) to secure a match for my existing grout so that my repair would be seamless. We will be using his services again and I would recommend him to anyone.
Set up my 2 ikea wardrobes and curtain rod very well. Professional workmanship. Highly recommend!
The whole job, from the estimate to the final clean up, went great. The drywall repair and paint look great. I plan to have APP back for additional projects in the future.
Hector made several electrical and plumbing repairs/installations at our home (inside and out), which included rewiring the recessed lights in the ceiling (which were flickering) and related drywall repair as well as repairing a leaking toilet. He also fixed a short in our bathroom light fixture, replaced a sprinkler valve and installed a new shut-off valve on an exterior copper pipe leading to the sprinkler valve. Additionally, Hector kindly offered to replace an electrical outlet and fix loose electrical outlet boxes for only the cost of parts. Hector is respectful and a mild-mannered professional. We have several other home improvement projects in mind and look forward to working with him again in the near future. Honest + Reasonable Prices + Quality Work = Highly Recommended!
Gus did a great job with our kitchen back splash tile. He was very professional and always gave us different options of what we could do to enhance the project. I would highly recommend Gus (Creative Hands) for any home projects or repairs that you may need. Thanks
George and his crew were very professional in cleaning our tile floors. The tile and grout both look amazing. We found that we had an issue with the sealer and George returned right away, contacted the manufacturer of the sealer, worked out a solution, and had manufacturer speak with me about what had occurred. George then corrected the problem and floors are perfect. The measure of a great professional is not just their ability to do a good job but to follow through on difficult jobs. Great company!
First time for both of us doing this type epoxy flooring for my garage but the end result had fantastic results.
Jose was exactly who we needed for this job. We needed to remove a kitchen range hood, install an OTR microwave and do a little tile work to finish around the range. He was prompt, polite and professional. His work was excellent and he wasn't afraid to suggest solutions for our tile issue. Not only would we absolutely hire him again, we are making a list of things that we would like him to do. Trust me, Jose is the guy you need in your contact list to do those repairs that you have been putting off. Prices were fair for the work that was performed.
It was a pleasure meeting Mark, a true professional. I had a variety of issue that needed attention. Without any direction from me, he contacted the manufacturer of a faucet that needed repair, and made arrangement to have the replacement party to my home at no cost....very cool. I've already planned additional jobs with him....so happy I found him.. I would recommend him...."Big Time"!
Ricardo was professional and did a outstanding job on replacing drywall and texturing my kitchen. You won't be disappointed with the work Ricardo does.
Two gentlemen showed up and were very prepared for the job. I would have expected a little bit better and bigger tools for the job, but it looks like they are just starting out and working on a budget. I didn't have the best floor for this type of job, but they made it work. The floor seems to be holding up pretty well. The confetti utilized wasn't as good as I was expecting as many sharp corners protrude from the epoxy and catch on some things. I'm sure over time they will round off. All in all, I think they did a decent job for the floor that they were dealing with. If you have a completely level floor with a decent surface to start with, your epoxy will turn out pretty decent for sure.
Jordan as a person was very nice. His inital follow up was prompt and he spoke very highly of his attention to detail. As a first time homeowner, I know little about construction and heavily rely on the expert knowledge of others to assist with our remodel. We hired Jordan after meeting three other contractors based solely on our interaction with him. When we originally had Jordan out to our house it was for a flooring quote only. Jordan explained he also preformed landscaping work on the side so we added that to our list. Jordan did an amazing job installing the floors! The entire dynamic of the house changed because of the floors. I was very disappointed in a few other areas which is the reason for 4 stars. We do not currently live in the house although we do have a few items in place for weekend visits. Towards the end of the job Jordan said that they were mostly finished so I had gone to check out the progress. The tile work in both bathrooms is crooked. The master bath is very noticeable. In addition, my bedding was covered in dust and they had smeared grout into the carpet in my bedroom. There was also sloppy grouting and caulking done in several areas of my home. To add insult to injury his crew decided it was ok to help themselves to my kids popcicles - this actually upset me just asuch as the tile floor. Giving credit where it is due: Jordan and Tim did have my carpets cleaned, my bedding dry cleaned and I was given the option to have them rip up the bathroom floor or receive a discount from my final bill. Jordan did offer to replace the missing popcicles as well although that never did happen. The landscape looks nice as well but we asked to keep the remaining turf and that also didn't happen. I asked jordan about it and he said what was salvageable was in our shed - it wasnt. Again, I was very happy with the floors but the other items make it hard to say if I would rehire for additional projects. Nice guy but I didn't feel like our home was cared for in the way he said it would be. If you do decide to hire Jordan my recommendations would be: 1. Get a detailed breakdown of the work 2. Notate about the use of your personal items (they completely filled up both our garbage cans) 3. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect. Check every corner.
Steve was knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and courteous. I definitely plan to hire him again in the future for handyman and construction projects.
Was very pleased with the quality of workmanship. Was professional and courteous and highly recommend this company. They went over and beyond our expectations.
Gabe was professional, courteous and accommodating.
We wanted to finish our garage floor with Epoxy and convert part of the garage to a home gym. After extensive research and several quotes, I was very impressed with Grant at the GarageMasters as they specialize in garage rehab and use the best products available in the market. His price was extremely competitive, and he did a remarkable job and stayed true to his time line and estimate. He even repaired some foundation cracks and did not charge extra. We are very happy with the outcome of the floors. Thank you!
B. King is currently our favorite person. We hired him initially because our home renovation contractor had done some damage to our house. Rather than fix it, the contractor told us to hire someone else to fix it. Not knowing what else to do, we set out to do as he advised, which led us to B.King. B.King came over, took one look at the site and pointed out all the things our contractor had done that the Contractors State Licensing Board would view as violations. He instructed us to take pictures, file a complaint right away, and contact a lawyer--all of which we did that night. Suddenly, our renovation contractor was singing a different tune. He volunteered to fix everything and even paid B.King to repair some of the items he'd pointed out. B.King ended up saving us thousands of dollars in legal fees and empowered us with the knowledge we needed to get our renovation contractor to perform as contracted. B. King also completed the work the next day, had competitive pricing, and was a dream to work with.
Acid stain the back patio. Work hard to achieve the results. Cleaned up well after completed, even left sealer if I wAnted to apply more later.
Needed a contractor to fix the drywall, paint wall, crown molding, base board, carpet the master bedroom, re-stain vanity cabinet on master bathroom, paint and texture drywall and ceilling and much more. Searched through thumbtack and A BETTER CHOICE DEVELOPMENT INC. Responded right away and gave me a very resonable estimate so I had them do the work and was not disapointed with my decision because Justin Hardman and his team are very professional in what they do and very careful and very detailed at their work and they promised to finish my project in 2 weeks and they did it in less time what they promised. Overall we are really satisfied in the work, profesionalism of A BETTER CHOICE DEVELOPMENT INC, and the fact that Justin Hardman and his team went out of their way to make sure that we are happy. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who is looking for a GOOD CONTRACTOR.
It is difficult to decide where to start on this review. Most of my contact was through Monica and through this entire process she never came to me with problems, only solutions. We did a complete remodel of a home I've owned for years and used as a rental. Budget was a huge issue based on the location and taking ROI into account. We gutted the interior, full kitchen, two bath and 3 bedroom rehab. Some walls were taken out, others were added including the replacement of a circa 1980's single door entry to a beautiful double door. All of this while staying on the budget Monica worked so hard to meet. I interviewed more than half a dozen contractors before deciding on El Sol, some of them quoted my entire budget just for the kitchen. Monica made it all happen and the only budget overruns were changes I made during the build. Her son did the kitchen back splash and his attention to detail, precision cuts and grout lines rival that of a 30 year craftsman. The timeline for the project completion was slightly delayed. Some were material issues, waiting on cabinets and other items while others were manpower with her crew spread out on other jobs. This was only a minor inconvenience when balanced out with the quality and professionalism we experienced. I'm about to start an out of state build on my retirement home and I can only hope it goes as smooth and stays on budget as well as this rehab did.
JR and his team showed up on time. Detailed the process before starting and completed the work in a timely manner. I’m very happy with the results. I’ve already been able to refer Wesco to some of my neighbors. Job well done! Definitely would call them again should a need arise.
