Introduction: I teach customized one on one lessons in piano and music theory. Learning and teaching is not a cookie-cutter endeavor. I strive to connect with each student and assess their strengths, goals, personality and learning style to set them up for success. I look at the whole person and their big picture so that their experience is positive, encouraging and makes them excited to come to their next lesson. We are all learning - just on different levels. I am always working to improve my skills and work towards excellence. My goal in teaching is to help each student develop the skills to enjoy music for the rest of their life. Customizing my approach for each student. Learning is not a cookie-cutter endeavor. I enjoy helping people optimize their personal learning style and being a part of their personal growth.

Holly responded quickly to all of my questions about piano lessons, her background, schedule, etc. She was more than willing to give me references from other families that have children taking lessons from her. My daughter is a beginner. We have been taking lessons with Holly for a month now and my daughter enjoys working with her and seems to be picking up the skills.

Holly is a fabulous teacher. As an adult learner returning to the piano, I have been completely impressed with her immense musical knowledge and her natural ability to teach! I have had many piano teachers through the years and Holly is the best. She clearly loves her craft and would be a great fit for any student.

I enjoy my classes very much with Holly. She is very knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and thoughtful. As an adult student, I am so happy to have found Holly to be my teacher. I have met many piano teachers over the years when my children were learning piano, I consider myself fortunate as Holly is the best among all.

Holly has been an amazing resource for my daughter who has been a music major at UOP. She has the experience to help her in both music theory and technique. She is very easy to relate with also. We would highly recommend her!
