Pastor Mike was the officiant for our wedding. He was personable, friendly, on time and was willing to meet our needs for our ceremony. Being that we did not know someone personally to officiate, this experience could not have gone better. Double thumbs up.

Pastor Michael did a wonderful renewal of vow wedding for us at Eberle Winery in Paso Robles. Before the renewal we felt he really took the time to go over everything that we wanted to make it special. Very nice man and highly recommend!

He did a great job with my brother's wedding. The ceremony was a nice length and there was a nice message. He was there on time and ready to go. He was there for the rehearsal and we all knew what was happening. If I was to get married, I would have him do the ceremony.

Thanks James! It also was great having the crew from Good Morning America filming the ceremony, and showing a portion of it on their show the following Monday...and of course sending the bride and groom to the Caribbean for a honeymoon wasn't too bad either!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, and I have been performing weddings for over 25 years. I am an alumnus of Azusa Pacific University, and the Nazarene Bible College.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a pastor for over 30 years, and have done weddings for most of that time. I began using Thumbtack in April, 2015, and have loved the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people through this connection!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done a wedding that was taped and broadcast by "Good Morning America"; I did a wedding for a 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist friend of mine, as well as a wedding in period costume for members of The Renaissance Pleasure Faire. I have done weddings on beaches, cliffsides, parks, wineries, lakesides and even in churches! The couples have been as young as 19, and as old as 72!
