This has helped tremendously because sometimes you’re not able to sit at the piano, but Paul has taught me that looking at pieces of music, even while sitting on the couch and analyzing it, counts as practice. he has shown me great ways to look at a piece of sheet music and break it down so that it’s more approachable. If you’re an adult wanting to take piano lessons, don’t hesitate to contact Paul. She then shared with me that she had just hired a piano instructor who specialized in jazz piano and wished to match me with him as soon as he had completed his required onboarding. In the meantime, she asked if I would have a session today with another one of her instructors (Amy) who she believed would definitely be able to assist me in the short-term - while I waited a couple weeks for her new jazz piano instructor. Amy S. was amazing. Took my unscheduled lesson with less than two hours notice. She was punctual, polite, responsive, and confident that she could help me. And she proceeded to thoroughly guide me through piano solo parts for 4 charts that I needed to get under my hand for tomorrow night’s big band rehearsal. I’ve sat with several online instructors. None as astute. Very much looking forward to a long learning relationship with Kerry L. and Lesson With You. Thanks so much!"See more

I've been taking Jaime's guitar course for a few months now, working on guitar technique, music theory and ear training, and I feel I'm a lot more confident with guitar now. Jaime is really patient and he always tailors his lesson to student's interest and need. He is also detailed oriented, catching the issues that I would never notice on my own. I would definitely recommend his lessons!

I have taken several lessons with Alon already and he is an excellent teacher. I've been playing metal guitar for about 6 years (on and off) but felt like I wasn't getting much progress. Alon listened to my "guitar goals" and carefully picked exercises and instructions that would help me improve my technique and speed. He gave me a lot of useful tips on how to practice and what to do when I get stuck. He also taught me some very cool things in music theory that have helped me better understand what notes blend well together, this will help immensely with learning songs and writing music. Awesome teacher!
