This is the first time I've had a personal trainer, So I really cant say how it could have gone better. But I can say that Stephany asked a lot of good questions to get to know me before coming up with a suggested program. She then watched and evaluated my physical reaction to the exercises. I just started with Stephanie. She is communicative and compassionate. She made me feel good about myself during our first workout even though I was emotional about starting. I feel motivated to continue to improve myself and felt really good that my form was so good on my squats, hip thrusts, and crunches especially since I haven’t worked out in years! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?-I offer packages of 10 sessions for a discounted rate, as well as options to pay per session. -I can bring the necessary equipment for the workout at YOUR location of choice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always set up a complimentary phone call or in-person discussion with a prospective client first, so we can get to know each other. It's important during this time to see if we are a good fit and ensure that I am able to help them achieve their goals. I also like to discuss the client's medical history, limitations, lifestyle, and preferences so I may fine-tune their regiment and make it the most enjoyable experience possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Animal Science, which I have found to be rather helpful when it comes to anatomy and physiology. I also am certified in Russian Kettlebells (RKC), CrossFit Level 1, Plant-Based Nutrition, and MMA-Conditioning. Recently I attended a StrongFit seminar and subsequent Coaches Week, where I was immersed in principles of movement as they relate to the nervous system and one's mental well-being. I am constantly reading articles and books to keep up-to-date with this fast-paced industry. If I learn something great, the client will DO something great!
