Introduction: If chosen as your personal swim instructor I am positive I can develop and improve your swimming abilities due to my over 16 years of experience instructing students. I have taught students from infant through age 85 in all swimming skill levels. I am well experienced in developing lesson plans for swimming instruction as well as maintaining student records. I have the ability to assess and assign achieved level of swimming skills and confidently interface with families and students regarding progress. I enjoy seeing my students develop and progress through the course of our time together. It's very rewarding to see a non-swimmer take their first lap. It is also fun to further refine a swimmers current skill set. The services I provide are private, semi-private and group swim lessons as well as coaching. I will develop swim lessons and or workouts during the time you are under my instruction. I prefer to work out of Mountain View but I can travel to clients that are within a reasonable distance. Marlee is awesome. Works well with my daughter and I’m already seeing an improvement in her swimming. Would definitely recommend her.

We are so grateful that we found Marlee! Both of my kids (ages 4 and 2) love the water but had not yet taken formal lessons until we enlisted Marlee's help. She is super patient, very sweet, great with kids- both of them love her. We've only been taking lessons for a month and in that time I'm impressed with what they've been able to learn and accomplish. My oldest is learning to float, do the proper strokes/kicks, and pool safety (e.g. getting out of the pool, "crab crawl", etc.). We would absolutely recommend Marlee!

I'm currently taking lessons with Marlee and it's been a couple of months now. She has helped me to slowly get over my fear of the water and gotten me from basic floats to the crawl stroke to the breast stroke. I feel like I've made so much progress with her that it's been all worth it. I previously had an experience with a YMCA instructor and he simply increased my fear. It has felt amazing to be able to move in the water more fearlessly and getting from one point to another. I would definitely recommend Marlee :)

My 7 year old is taking lessons this summer with Sutara and she is wonderful. I've seen tremendous improvement and confidence building in just a few lessons. All the communication and booking has been through Marlee and she has been professional, dependable, and easy to work with. I'll definitely book more future lessons.
