Julio with J & M Precision Construction was great to work with. He took my vision of how I wanted my kitchen remodeled and made it a reality. He was responsive and communicative every step of the way on what will be done each day and kept us on scheduled even after I changed my mind on some of materials I wanted to use. In the midst of the kitchen remodel I added my fireplace to be done as well and Julio still completed the job on time (8 weeks). He also installed new floors throughout the house. I was also grateful that he cleaned up every time he was finished for the day and made sure he took the trash away daily. I greatly appreciated Myra as well, she helped with some of my decision making and helped clean the house especially the floors. I took the pictures in the evening so some maybe too dark. I would highly recommend Julio with J & M Precision Construction.Oct 3, 2018VerifiedJ&M Precision Construction's reply
Thank you Theresa and Scott for trusting us with your project. It was such a pleasure working on this project and with both of you.
J&M Precision Construction did an excellent job. Their price was very good, and tailored to my exact needs. The work was "precise", and performed very neatly, which is important to me. I will definitely use their services again as they are versatile in what they can do.Mar 24, 2017Verified

We have hired Julio for various jobs in 2018. The projects have included bathroom remodels, a kitchen remodel, replacing doors, baseboards, painting a main area and finally a fence project. Julio is very precise in his quotes and charges more for any minor changes or he says he will do it later on for free. Julios main strength is he always promises he will focus on one project at a time and will always be on site to directly monitor the work. This was a major advantage to us since we prefer to work with 1 person we trust vs multiple. Overall Julios work has been good and up to standard. That said for the kitchen, the cabinets 4months later are already deteriorating. For the paint job he did not remove an old thermostat in the wall during the work and we had to pay someone else to fix it after again minor details and again Julios quotes are very precise. Recently we had a fence project to do, Julio said the project was small and he would do the work himself. Julio dodged questions around the timeline for over a month for since our history we kept the work for him. Then when it came time for the work delayed the timeline a week more, finally came day of the work. We learned Julio had entirely passed on the project for 20% upcharge finders fee and did not at all monitor the work being done. Multiple times we had to remind or pay more for trash to be hauled or what to be gutted on the work he has done, again Julio is precise and upcharges if not told for this ahead of time. It appears when it comes to minor changes or timelines, Julio is very precise and asks for everything signed off or paid right away, but unfortunately he does not give the same treatment to his customers and their time. I suggest anyone working with Julio know you will get good work overall, but make sure everything is detailed and precise to start and make sure he tells you what work he will do himself directly. Also make sure what materials you pay for and where he gets his. We will not be using Julio again in the future.Sep 23, 2018VerifiedJ&M Precision Construction's reply
Hi Aryan, we sincerely regret to hear that somehow we felt short on communication on the last project, we strive to walk our customers throughly on estimates to avoid future misunderstandings. Although we received a five start review on previous work we did for you, we had hoped it would be the same result on the fence work. However, we appreciate your overall positive review on the fence work, our timeline, quality of workmanship, our precise estimates and charges. We would like to address that while we were ready to start the fence job right after we finished the kitchen, you were not able to start pending your neighbors approval for his side of the fence. As I stated to you, Once you contacted us that you were ready to move forward, we were halfway into another project with another customer. Hence, our company rule “ one customer at a time” we couldn’t start until that project was done. Again our apologies for the miscommunication. About the kitchen cabinet, as I stated offline after reading your review, we are more than happy to inspected and replace it if deem necessary as we stand 100% behind our materials and labor. Again, thank you for your feedback as this will help sharpen our skills and grow as a company.
