Introduction: Our team of Kinesiologists is the most educated group in the IE. We take the responsibility of our clients giving us their bodies to change seriously. That requires a level of professionalism and expertise. Our team currently holds 8 Bachelors and 4 Masters degrees with specialties in literally every area. We see and design fitness programs as a science because each client has specific needs to fit their current condition and their goals. Our studio is located in Murrieta. The long answer is: In our fitness services, attention to detail in every aspect of the process. We start with an assessment process which breaks down the way each body moves to determine where there is movement dysfunction. This is HUGE! If we have movement dysfunction, sooner or later we get hurt and the only thing that can stop a motivated, dedicated fitness routine is injury. Identifying areas of need right off the bat allows us attend to those areas first so as to reduce the risk of injuries. We use the information during the assessment to develop corrective and resistance exercise programs that also target the body's physiology along with the anatomy. Different fitness goals require different ways of training. During exercise sessions, our service becomes just as much an art as it is science. Finding what makes people click and how they respond to different types of communication is how we keep clients motivated and progressive. Also, the relationships we build with our clients are more than just someone we do business with. We look to really get to know our clients and often, over time, become friends. Our goal is not to just lift up people physically. We want those whom we work with to feel lifted up mentally and emotionally after their time with us. Sometimes that means listening and letting people vent about their day and sometimes that means giving advice. We particularly enjoy mentoring our youth athletes. True health and wellness involves this aspect along with the physical and we want our clients feeling good when they leave their time with us. There are two things that we enjoy about our work more than any other. First, is the complexity and uniqueness of each person's individual situation. We love the challenge of evaluating each person's past history, current situation, and future goals internally and on the surface. By delving deep into the client's situation we can identify the most important issues to attend to. Then we can truly create personalized, efficient exercise and nutrition recommendations specifically for that one person. Secondly, we love the reward of seeing people progress towards and reach their goals. Nothing is more motivating than results. This goes for the client and for us as well. When people see results from their hard work they gain even more momentum to keep moving forward. When we see clients light up because they are meeting and surpassing their goals, it increases our energy and passion for helping them. That cycle is amazing fuel! In our nutrition services, first, we work as a team. I have 3 functional nutritionists and 1 registered dietician on staff. We collaborate on client cases to assure that our clients get the best service possible for their situation. We also don't just tell people what to eat and what not to eat. We spend a lot of time helping them integrate a healthy way of eating into their lifestyle. We understand that everyone is busy and they need something that works for their job, family, time, and budget constraints. We also do a lot of the grunt work of telling them where they can find items for the best price. One aspect that we're very proud to offer is that we are always available to them via phone, email, or text. Our coaching program is 24/7 not based on billable hours. If they are out at a new restaurant and don't know for sure what they should choose, we are essentially right there at their side.

I have nothing but good things to say about this gym. I came in feeling uncomfortable and scared to leave my comfort zone, but was pleasantly surprised to find myself warmly welcomed. All the trainers/nutritionists are professional and really want to help you reach your goals. I was not thrown into workouts that were beyond my abilities and anytime I had questions about form (which was a lot), the trainers had patience to answer all my questions. I would 100% recommend this gym to everyone. I am only leaving because I’m moving, but I am still going to make it work virtually because I feel like I have had that great of an experience at this gym.

If i had the option I would highlight all five items lol. Responsiveness is great as well and so is the value for what you get. Everyone is super nice and I find it easy to talk with people there. The trainers paying attention and adjust my workouts to my injuries which is great because not all places do that they just take your money. The trainers always ask me if the workout is alright for me, how do I feel, is anything hurting? If so we can stop. The trainers will modify the exercise. I really appreciate Progressive health, I enjoy going, very happy with my decision to sign up.

I started a PHP about a month ago and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with all the trainers here! They tailor your workouts/recovery to your own specific goals and capabilities, which I think is totally awesome because as someone who hasn’t really ever focused on my physical health until recently, I’ve been able to pace myself and push myself at the same time without feeling like I should be running a marathon or killing pull ups in my first month of training. It’s all about your goals and implementing a healthy lifestyle. Every trainer is experienced, educated, and passionate about helping others reach their goals. I’m 100% for PHP :)

My son needed motivation and a specific exercise plan to prepare for Navy Boot Camp. Eric responded the same day I contacted him and came to our home to discuss options. There was no pressure to sign up. My son just completed his one month intense training and is heading to Boot Camp in 2 days. He is very well prepared and has more confidence, thanks to all the great trainers at Performance Health. My son Mason especially enjoyed the workouts by Nate, as he pushed him hard with encouragement. They maintained covid requirements with limited capacity, so you would sign up for times to go to the studio. This was awesome...not an overcrowded gym, plenty of space and access to all the equipment. No walk ins. This was such a great 👍 experience!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!

I was contacted shortly after my request by Eric. We discussed my options and set up a consultation at PHP the next day. The trainers are really friendly and listen to any feedback you may give. The family was very welcoming of me and I truly appreciate that. The facility is clean, organized, and the perfect environment for reaching your fitness goals. I hope anybody who is interested in fitness, joins PHP to see maximum results.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our pricing depends on the type of service and we have many options so as to fit any particular client. We offer 1-on-1 personal training sessions as well as semi-private,group classes, and even online training. Our nutrition services range from diagnostic testing, personal consultations, and our full coaching program. Some services are monthly, while others are per session or per test.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step in our process is to set up an assessment or evaluation. This is an hour appointment where we break down everything. For fitness, we talk about injury and health history, go over goals, and really go in detail on what the difference is between our semi-private and private training options are. During this time we also run potential clients through our Biomotor Screening to look at how their body moves and lines up. This allows us to identify areas of need and in many cases where and why people are experiencing injury or pain. We use this information to create an efficient, truly personalized exercise program. After going through movement assessments, we go into details over scheduling, the cost of services and sign-up paperwork. Our first session after sign-up is teaching the client their personalized homework workout as well as any testing or measurements for us to keep track of. For nutrition, we go through a different version of health history so we can figure out exactly what your body has been going through, what you've done in the past, and what your goals are. We try to focus in on 3-5 main health complaints and put together the picture about why they are where they are and how we should best attend to them. By finding out as much information as possible at the very beginning we are able to deal with the biggest issues first. At this time we would go over any functional labwork that would be beneficial to look at and talk about our first steps working together as well. Once we get lab results we have a clear picture of what is going on inside and we match that with what you told us is going on outside. We then put a plan together to attend to those issues and work through them step by step.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
