Enjoy your special day and leave the details to the professional! Marissa was simply amazing! We had booked most of our vendors ourselves however came all the small decisions and details. I was so overwhelmed, so one of my bridesmaids recommended I find a day of coordinator and it was the best decision ever! We had a morning ceremony and was unable to decorate the reception venue ourselves, not only did Marissa do the big job herself but she surpassed expectations, making sure the cake area was decorated, making sure our guestbook area and remembrance table were set up perfectly. Marissa also made sure our timeline for our schedule went smoothly with the restaurant and DJ and no detail was missed. At the end of the reception she worked as a fairy godmother and made sure our belongings, decor and gifts were carefully packed and even packed us some cake for later. If you want a coordinator with integrity, great response time, and great communication to execute your every need, then I highly recommend Marissa!

Marissa was AMAZING on the day of my Wedding as well as the few months leading up to it!! She is extremely organized, detail oriented and easy to work with. She knew how important my big day was and helped to relieve any stress I was feeling. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. I would absolutely recommend anyone to at least meet and consider her for all your event planning needs.

My husband and I asked Marissa to be our day-of wedding corrdinator because we were so impressed with her work at our best friends wedding. She is absolutely amazing. Where do I start? Leading up to wedding: She is extremely responsive over phone and email and is always willing to talk through everything. She listens well and will give valuable input when needed. She is so organized and on top of things. She was able to provide me with different options and scenarios which made me feel confident in my decisions. She made sure to familiarize herself with all my vendors beforehand, which was unexpected but pretty cool. Couldn’t have been more helpful leading up to the wedding! Day of: She is literally NEVER stressed. The whole day ran so smoothly. I even had a couple guests tell me that it was the most smooth organized wedding they have been to. Everyone knew where they needed to be and at what time. She was nicely dressed and presented herself beautifully and professionally. Don’t forget to feed her :) If something came up the day of she would figure it out and only ask me if it was absolutely necessary, but she asked if this was okay the day before and I said yes! I really couldn’t say one bad thing about Marissa’s work. I would recommend her to anyone!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    To get familiar with your wedding plans, usually 1-2 meetings are needed to go through the itinerary. I will request to see information that has been discussed with vendors over the last couple months of planning. Contact via email and phone will be the main communication outside of the 2 meetings (within a 4 week time frame).

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    San Jose State University Graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Tourism and Event Management

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Most of my work leading up to this point has been referral’s from friends and family. Many of my clients are looking for affordable alternatives when hiring event help. I am flexible and am happy to work directly with clients who are sticking to a budget.
