About this pro
Type of booth
They should just terminate their business. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. The worst customer service, lying to the customer, ignoring the customer, playing games via email, and withholding my photos from me. I have yet to receive a call or email back from Ruben, the owner, as well as my photos! He also stated I would have video capabilities and that was a lie. The onsite helper (his father) did not know what he was doing and took 2 hours to setup and we still had issues the rest of the night with the booth delaying between photos so everyone had the worst photos. He also tried to leave an hour early and got upset when I told him my time was not up so he then rushed my guests to take last photos so he could leave. Not to mention the photo quality was AWFUL. Everyone had pinkish orange lips and the guy had the nerve to tell me that he can see I was wearing lipstick so that is why it showed on the photo. I was not wearing lipstick and I highly doubt all the men and children had on lipstick as well. NEVER NEVER BOOK THIS COMPANY!! RUN!!! You actually did NOT provide all that we agreed to. Remember this was all in emails so please do not continue to lie. You still have not called me back after I have called, emailed, and text you several times in the last two weeks. You were able to call my party guest right back when they stated they wanted to book you for an event. That in itself is a HUGE red flag. Your "attend" did not get the machine working until after 5:30pm and tried to leave at 7:30 when he was supposed to be there for 3 hours. Remember this was a surprise event and we had cameras placed all over the clubhouse to capture the event there we have date stamped imagines of when people were actually able to start using the machine and of me talking to him about the photos. You can ask anyone there as well as review the photos we took ourselves, I along with the men and children at the party were NOT wearing orange lipstick. You need to work on your customer service skills!May 16, 2018VerifiedRuben C.'s reply
Hi Dana, As mentioned before it does take a few days to upload all event images onto our servers to send out to clients. We have multiple events per week and offload during weekdays. We went ahead and sent you the gallery. I have attached an image to this URL for you to see that the images in fact came out correct with no off coloring: http://tinypic.com/r/b84hah/9 Perhaps you were selecting one of the many color effects on our photo booths? My attendant made it clear to me that he did have some difficulties at the begging with the video feature on the booth which we do apologize for and would like to make up for it with some free prints or a discount on your next booking. Our attendant also mentioned he made up for the technical difficulties with an extra 30 minutes of booth time. On our contract we specify that equipment although rarely, can fail and we do everything we can to fix the issues at hand which we did and made up for it with additional time. Furthermore, the attendant mentioned all guests had a great time and they gave him many compliments.
We had so much fun at our party. Thanks to Sybex Studio services! We will definitely call you again.Dec 13, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer the best prices in the bay area and we go above and beyond to give extra services. Our work is more important than price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I get a new client I go over their needs and style preferences and budget. Next I have a shot list I usually use and I go over it with the client to make sure it works for them, or to see if they would like to add any additional shots. I also usually like to visit the venue or site that they will have me shooting at. I also like to coordinate with any other vendors the client may be using. I also make sure to stay in contact with clients on the days leading up to the event to make sure they do not have any additional questions or requests prior to their event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended Gnomon School of Visual Effects in North Hollywood.
