Monica was a pleasure to work with. She did a great job helping with the process of planning and making sure things got done. With the stress of wedding planning having her as a wedding coordinator helped us feel less stressed. She gave us great advice on vendors and helped us find the best deals. She was always available to answer questions. I felt like I was planning my wedding with a friend and I couldn't ask for a better experience. My family was also very pleased with her services.
Lavonne was very responsive right from the start of the planning process for my sisters birthday party celebration. She helped me come up with a menu that everyone would enjoy and then flawlessly executed the day of the party. She fit right in with my family and friends and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a caterer.
We are so glad to have had Jodi as our wedding officiant. She arrived on time and was so patient while we waited for some important wedding guests to arrive. She delivered such a beautiful ceremony. We had guests ask us if she was a friend of the family because she seemed so emotionally connected to the event. We know we made the right choice!
I hired Excellent Party Rental for my daughter's wedding in Carlsbad. Ramiro was excellent at answering my questions, drawing up an invoice (which I revised half a dozen times!), and being very flexible with those ongoing changes, right up to two days before the wedding. He arrived right on time and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the table cloths--he had used a new cleaner for his linens and they had done a terrible job. Although the linens were labeled, on hangers and covered in plastic, when we took them out, there were stains and even food on many of them. This was the morning of the wedding! I called Ramiro, and he immediately drove 40 minutes with new linens. He provided exactly what we needed to have a great event--tables of all sizes, chairs, linens, wine glasses, pilsner glasses, coffee pots and large space heaters. His operation is not a fancy one, but he seems to have access to immeasurable resources, his prices are quite a bargain, and his customer service is tops. Ramiro also came to pick up right when planned. He was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Excellent Party Rental. I'm sure he has worked out cleaner situation by now. That was my only complaint, and since he remedied it right away, he deserves 5 stars.
Andrea was a joy to work with for our wedding. We wanted to keep it intimate and decided to do it on the fly, so we needed help at the very last minute and she was up for the challenge! She came up with all the special touches that I didn't even know I wanted (until I saw them) and I was blown away by how thorough she was. She made me feel like a really special bride even though my wedding was non-traditional! I also attended a large-scale charity event organized by Events by Abel last summer. I'd recommend her for both small, intimate weddings and bigger celebrations -- she's attentive, thoughtful, easy to work with, and all around fun! Thanks to Andrea for making our special day so easy and fabulous!
I booked Annemarie for my wedding planning services and I am so thrilled I did! I knew I needed the help and I could have NEVER have done it without her! She was so organized, insanely helpful to my family and I, fun, and such a pleasure to work with. Besides keeping me on a schedule and making sure I was having fun instead of stressing on what I needed to do next , she would approach me and let me know it was time. She made all the steps to our wedding flow flawlessly (food service, toast, dance, photos, dessert, bouquet toss). If it wasnt for her I would have been delegating and stressing my own husband and wedding party to make sure everyone else had fun. Instead I got to actually enjoy everything and have fun myself ! Priceless! She even talked me out of crying as I was about to walk down the aisle, which was a major goal of mine! AMAZING! She listened to my opinions and desires and offered advice when I needed and asked for it. She made sure I ate, which is impossible to do at your wedding. She kept everything like clockwork and with so much care and communication. I am so grateful for this woman! You are in good hands!
My fiance and I spent what felt like forever debating if we would need to hire a wedding planner and a florist. We really didn't want to because we felt we could handle most of it ourselves, but the hesitation was around the decor, flowers, and overall style of our wedding. I'm clueless when it comes to making something out of nothing... Enter Kelly (Champagne Projects). We met Kelly when she was hitting the ground running with Champagne Projects and always loved EVERYTHING she put together (even things for fun around her home -- you should see what this woman can do with almost any size budget and creative freedom -- it's astounding). So we thought, hmm, why hire a wedding planner and a florist when we have someone we trust right here? Fast forward to the planning part. I hate planning. Did I mention I have no eye for decor? Right. Well, Kelly dealt with this for about 6 months, providing suggestions, finding alternatives, and essentially saying, "It's OK, I got this," about a zillion times. If it weren't for her quick-thinking, eye for creativity, and love for design, I'd have pulled my hair out well before the wedding ;) ...she even worked with the event coordinator to arrive early to have time to get everything done without rushing -- details I'd never have thought of, she took it upon herself to go above and beyond. So long story even longer, Champagne Projects KILLED IT at our wedding. The bride and bridesmaid bouquets were the perfect balance of color and size, the centerpieces made the boring white table cloths seem non-existent, and the head table looked like something out of a fairy tale. She even personally wove together eucalyptus garland for our ceremony and brought extra flowers for the cake and desert table. When we got to the venue after Kelly and the event coordinator had set up, I had to walk around and just take it all in. She was able to do what most people really seem to struggle with - MAKE YOUR PINTEREST DREAMS A REALITY - at a really competitive rate. Chef Marckende was amazing! He came up with an incredibly creative menu (all vegan/vegetarian) with dumplings, potstickers, ramen, and an amazing chocolate, strawberry, blueberry layer cake. He was very responsive in the planning process, even coordinating the on-site setup/visit the night before because we were celebrating a birthday with a group of friends at an AirBnb. Couldn't have imagined a better dining experience for celebrating a birthday with the group of 11. He was very professional, came with all of the necessary supplies, took care of service and clean-up. If you're looking to choose a chef for an event, you're missing out if you don't choose Chef Marckende. He'll create a memorable meal and take care of all the details so you don't have to even think about doing anything else other than enjoying a great meal with great company.
I absolutely loved all of the work that Oh Mai Art Creations did for our wedding! We not only asked for name cards for each guest, but also several chalkboards which featured the table assignments, the cupcake flavors at our dessert table, and a photo booth sign. I was not sure how I wanted each chalkboard designed or what exactly to feature, and Mai Jill had great suggestions that made the decision process for the final designs very easy. I am so glad that I went with OMAC because of the personal touch that you get from artwork created by hand. The quality of her calligraphy and designs is second to none! Not only is her work amazing, but working with Mai Jill was so easy. She has great communication skills and is very professional. I truly felt that she cared about making our day special. So many of our guests complimented her work. I will definitely be using OMAC again!

From the moment I met her, I knew she is someone who strives to perfection. I am myself very detailed oriented and I recognized alike-souls :). She went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smooth, she is very detailed oriented, very fast, and on top of everything. She is also very easy to get along with, flexible, kind, great personality. Being new in town, and not having a huge support system here, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about the whole wedding planning, and having her onboard was magical, she was an angel! Glennie and her team was Everything I had hoped for and more! They were so helpful throughout the entire process, went above and beyond, and we’re so detail oriented and amazing. I really did not have to plan my wedding because they had it all planned for me. I just had a vision, I told him what I wanted, and they made it happen. I would highly recommend Glennie and her team To everyone I know. My wedding of 450 gas and having it on today’s was so fun and exciting. If I were to have it again in 10 years, I would definitely rebook with her.
I hired Moments Remembered Events as my wedding planning company for my wedding on August 21,2016. Tom was one of the main reasons my wedding was a great success. The venue didn't let us know the top area didn't have speakers so Tom took the initiative to go coordinate everything and make sure the agenda was followed. He also is well prepared and very professional. If you want someone who will be prepared for whatever comes up at your wedding Tom is the man. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ/MC. If I ever need a DJ for another occasion I will definitely be giving Tom a call.
My bestfriend lives in Texas and I live in LA and she needed me to help plan her wedding. When I brought in Alexis, everything went so much smoother and the stress was taken away from me! Well organized, sweet, ON TIME... so many great words come to mind to describe this service. She even brought complementary water to the outside wedding, it was great.

We had Portero Concierge handle our 50 wedding anniversary party. Everything went off without a hitch. The setting and the attention to detail was superb. Marni was as excited as we were about our party. We highly recommend Portero for all of your event needs big or small. Even day to day activities that you just don’t have time for.
