CheckMate Process Serving
About this pro
Mike is a very experienced process server. In my case, the defendant contractor used his father's home address on his contractor license. That meant Mike went to his father's home. Mike spoke with both of them, his father face to face and the defendant over the phone, and made it clear that the defendant was evading service. That frightened him enough to cause him to reach out to me and settle my claim mediately. That's the best possible result. I wouldn't hesitate tfor use Mike again.Jan 11, 2018Verified
Mike served my paperwork within hours and followed up promptly the next day. If I have to use a process server again I'm definitely calling Mike!Sep 5, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My fees are not really complicated. I have them listed on my website as I do not surprise anyone with what I charge. Some servers won't list anything and you won't find out until you talk to them what they charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Military Intelligence in the US Marine Corps (Recon) and in the US Air Force; Security Chief at a Department Store chain in Tennessee & Georgia (Miller Brothers); Officer and Investigator on two Police Departments; Private Investigator in California; Pinkerton Investigator in Denver, Colorado; Bounty Hunter; instructor at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Academy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I do posting of 30/60/90 day notices to pay rent or for eviction purposes; every day small claims notices; summons and complaints (notice of a law suit); subpoenas; court orders; unlawful detainers (evictions); wage garnishments; restraining orders; orders to appear for examination - basically almost any type of court order or other document.
