Dr. Betsy Chung Psychotherapy and Assessment

Introduction: What separates me from many traditional therapists is my informal approach to psychotherapy, which I believe creates a more genuine relationship. My psychotherapy style is not for everybody, so the first three sessions are used for "consultation", which allows me and my clients to determine whether we are a good fit for treatment together. I love learning about my clients' life experiences, and helping them understand the way those experiences affect them today. Every client's life is so different, and I never grow tired of trying to understand people.
