Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a one man operation. I take pride in my work. I can't blame anything on anyone else. So I make sure that my work is such that I don't have to return. I get to interact with people one on one, and I don't have punch a clock. I get to spend as much time as I need getting the job done right.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a $45.00 service call and $12.00 dollars per lock (everywhere a key will go in is considered a lock) to rekey and my hourly rate for repairs is $65.00. Jobs that I bid say for residential doors and hardware or large commercial hardware installations are on a per job bases.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Kye control is the most important aspect of your home or business. Thats what you hire me for, to help you figure out what's best for you. Changing keys is the best way to control who has access to your house or business. Its important to keep locks and hardware in good working order. I do all of the above.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure he/she is a California State licensed contractor. Get the contractors license number and check with CSLB for any complaints. Make sure that he/she has a California Locksmith permit it will have a number that can be checked with the Department of Justice. Understand that any locksmith that is not licensed in California cannot do any work that is over $500 in total and must advise you that he is not licensed in writing for up to $500.00.
