Gilbert knows what he is doing, his guys are great and get the work done right the first time. I am building my own home and i wish i hire Gilbert for slab and framing but i had already had it done when i met him. The work was 100% done right pass all inspections with green flags. communication was top notch.
Cons: We agreed to have him install drop ladder that i supply he came to final inspection and collect his final pay and i left he said he would get it install. Came back and it was not install. I handle it but the principal was not there. I texted him to find out if he was planing to come back and pick up all the left over wood that they left (trash) never got a response. I am a plumbing contractor and i would never leave a job site the way he did unethical. That is why i left a 4 start but in reality a 3 start would of been well deserve. I have another project now and i do not know if i will use him again.

According to our contract, we specify that the work to be done was just framing work, our client hire other contractor to do the structural foundation work which was missing 80% of the requiered anchr bolts, our company install them for free for our costumer also our client agrees that he will dispose the trash with a trailer to avoid the few for caontainers, in our contract was never include the installation of any leadder, doors or windows.

Work has not started yet, due to a delay in obtaining permits, but Gilbert has been wonderful through the estimate and planning phases. He accompanied us to LADBS to assist us in the permit process and is available by phone and text whenever we need him. I'll update after work is completed, but for now, we are very satisfied.

Gilbert Alvarez was great and perfessional. We had a bit of a problem after the concrete was poured but he was on top of it and fixed it.

Work was for a concrete slab foundation and a paved wall way by the house. The work was started and completed on time. We also stayed on budget. As for the quality of work Mr. Alvarez went above and beyond what was called for on the plans. Which lead to us passing inspection on the first attempt. Based on my experience I would have no problems recommending Mr. Alvarez.

Gilbert helped me with framing and structural work for a cantilevered deck. He was quick to meet with me and asked a lot of questions to be sure he understood project and scope.
Once construction started, there were unknown preexisting conditions that affected the drawn plans. But he made adjustments in field and unlike other GCs didn't upcharge for changes.
After construction was completed, Gilbert offered to help me with the city inspection and get everything approved. Don't think I could have done it with out him, highly approve his work and character!
