Sandy has changed my belief about personal trainers. I had been with a trainer for a little over two years. She was a drill sergeant. I dreaded every session, and thought that training HAD to be that way. Then fate brought Sandy into my life....and poof, my whole perception of training changed! Like she says, she LISTENS to your needs. If you're not feeling well, or feel like you're being challenged accesively, she will cut back. I HATE working out with a passion, but I come down with a smile on my face when sandy comes over, because I know I'll have a workout that won't leave me dead, like with my previous trainer. And guess what? I'm actually seeing results! I lost a few pounds with my previous trainer, but mainly was maintaining my weight. With Sandy, I have lost, and keep loosing, because of her style, and her education, and her beautiful personality. My high school best friends and I meet yearly at the San Antonio winery. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't do contracts, however, my payments are either weekly or monthly. The client has a choice between the two. I try to keep my rates competitive. Travel to their location is included in the rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will ask them a series of questions so I can get to know their needs. Once I have that information, I can custom create a program that matches their goal. During our first session, I will have the client sign a few forms (waiver/cancellation policy), next I will take their measurements. With follow ups every month unless the client prefers to measure more frequently. I do not believe in the scale as I focus on how the client feels and inches lost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an ACE Certified trainer. I also do ongoing education to continue to grow and be the best Personal Trainer possible.
