Introduction: Everyone has a different reason for wanting to dance. Some people want to learn for a special occasion while others just want to feel comfortable on the dance floor, some may want to do competitions while others just want a good workout. I target my students exact needs and teach them so they can achieve their individual goals. I teach students at their pace and get them where they want to be the fastest way possible. I love watching a non dancer turn into a dancer. It is so rewarding to see someones confidence rise as they feel more and more comfortable with their own bodies.

I was planning a Father-Daughter dance for my April 2 2016 wedding. It included a 3 song mix (rhumba to My Girl, swing to Jive Bunny's In the mood, and a salsa to Vivir la Vida). We knew how to do most of the dances, but needed help with the segues and adding my mother to the salsa part at the end of our dance. Within two weeks prior to the wedding, we had three 1 hr classes, and with a little practice at home and before the wedding, we pulled off a fun and entertaining dance number for the Wedding reception. Lisa is an energetic teacher, patient and fun. She teaches based on skill level, and will adjust the routine based on ability. She was able to break down the moves easily so we could better understand timing against the music, and even allowed my parents to tape our practices so we could review it and practice at home. I would absolutely recommend her. Practicing and learning from her was really fun, even my 69 yr old mom and 71 yr old dad loved her patience and her ability to teach. She is wonderful with great positive energy!

I've used Lisa numerous times to entertain the guests at our family banquets. She's amazing at getting them out of their seats and onto the dance floor. She's become a tradition at our events, and we can't have them without her any more.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have been teaching and performing dance for over 20years. I teach out of my home dance studio so I pass the saving onto my clients. I only need to rent studio space for large groups, otherwise, my clients don't need to pay for a studio floor space.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach to my clients level. We start with a warm up so I can see the level of my student and how quickly they pick up steps. I work to their level so not to ever frustrate them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in theater and dance. I also studied at Arthur Murray's Dance Studio as well as private coaching from dance masters all over the world.
