I began my career as an ad copywriter for the hotel and retail industries and applied those skills to the Internet when I joined Pay-per-Click advertising pioneer GoTo.com in 1999. As a senior SEM Specialist at Overture and Yahoo Search Marketing, I created innovative and profitable marketing campaigns for high-value advertisers such as eBay, Home Depot and Cisco Systems.
While working at Reach Local, I specialized in strategic pay-per-click execution for a variety of small to medium sized businesses. Assessing the setup and overall performance of search engine marketing campaigns, I implemented SEM industry best practices and new optimization techniques, resulting in improved customer ROI and retention.
