Carl was hired to teach Hebrew to my daughter who is in Kindergarten as well as to teach my husband and I Hebrew. Carl is a very dedicated professional that has a true gift at teaching. He makes the lessons fun and teaches in a way that keeps the learner engaged the entire lesson and always excited about learning more. This would not normally be an easy task while teaching a 5 year old, however Carl makes it look easy. Our daughter looks forward to Carls's weekly visits, as do we. Carl even went out of his way to find a special Hebrew educational book for my husband (who already speaks pretty decent Hebrew- but wanted to learn more). I would highly recommend Carl for any tutoring, writing, or editing services you may need.

Skip took on a job that was pretty big and what made matters worse, a person that had just neglected the fundamentals of writing. It's not that I don't know them, I was just too lazy to apply them the way they should be. He reminded me of it. I asked him to be brutally honest and he was. The wonderful thing about him, he later pointed out the good things I was doing right and eventually made my confidence skyrocket. The job your asking me to describe is not only Skip helping me with the book I am working on, but him guiding me and restoring my confidence to get me back in the fight after being knocked down by life, people and dare I say editors and publishers. Victor was amazing! I had an odd glitch in formatting my Word document to the CreateSpace parameters. To make a very long story short, the headers and footers and pagination were giving me fits. It brought me to tears and I was ready to throw my computer out the window. Victor methodically and diligently worked his way through the manuscript with patience, kindness, and tenacity and fixed all of the issues. Because it was such a problem, I was afraid at one point that he was going to fire me as a client. I could never have done it without him. NEVER. He was supportive through the process and fixed some things in my manuscript that I didn't know needed fixing. I am planning on hiring Victor again for a future writing project. The cost to hire a grant writer can vary depending on their academic background, areas of expertise, previous grant writing success and years of experience. According to the Grant Professionals Association, grant writers should be paid hourly or by flat fee. It is unethical for a grant writer to accept a commission or percentage compensation of grant monies received. They can, however, be awarded bonuses in line with the hiring company’s prevailing practices. Here are some examples of average grant writing fees:

  • Hourly rate for grant writers with less experience or fewer grants awarded: $25-$35 per hour.
