Introduction: I have practiced bodywork for the past 6 years. Although I have been receiving massage since the young age of 12. I truly believe in the healing and restorative properties that this form of self care can provide. I specialize in holistic wellness and am studied in cross cultural modalities and techniques promoting healing and client wellbeing. I am truly grateful to be able to provide healing, pain relief and overall relaxation to each one of my clients. Each treatment is carefully crafted to fit your needs. My goal is and always has been to leave people, places and experiences better than I found them and I take pride in doing exactly that in my bodywork! I book two weeks in advance. I was referred to Mikaela by another massage therapist. I have numerous sport injuries. Mikaela is very experienced with body work on athletes & uses deep tissue massage, cupping & hot stone therapy. At my Novato office my price is set at $100/hour. For mobile massage my price is set at $125/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting with a client for the first time I do a health intake. This entails learning about recent or past injuries, surgeries and any current allergies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from National Holistic Institute as a massage therapist and health educator. I am certified in the state of California to practice massage therapy. I am certified in oncology wellness massage as well.
