FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is always an introduction, the more I know about your objectives and what you enjoy about music the better I'll be able to instruct you in a way that you enjoy. There are several different paths we could take with our lessons that all fall under "music lessons", so choosing the right one is integral to our success in transferring knowledge in an engaging way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelors of Music from Cornish College of the Arts in 2019, specializing in Classical Guitar Performance. Before that, I graduated from Oakland School for the Arts in 2015. I've completed an audio engineering course at SAE Expression College, and am currently employed at Prolific Sound Solutions as an Audio Engineer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided that I'd be lying to myself if I pursued any other line of work than teaching music. I believe I approach music in a way that is more philosophical than other professionals do, and this, whether the student shares this interest or not, enables me to craft my instruction around the student's other philosophical positions.
