Michael is passionate about reorganization and decorating. He helped me declutter and organize my closets, living room, kitchen as well as my art supplies and studio room. Art can be hard to organize for someone without context but Michael worked with me to understand my needs well and customized every idea. He is a pleasure to work with and took great care and thought in setting up my home as if it were his own.
Luana is an incredible house cleaner. She's very thorough, and leaves no stone unturned. We have two kids and two dogs so I asked her to use my natural products, which she had no problem with. I always look forward to coming home on days I know Luana has been there. The house is spotless, smells fresh, and things are neatly organized. She even folds our bath towels like a hotel!
We are busy parents and our home was not organized. We always wanted to make it organized and tidy, but in reality we never really finished this project, even after reading a few books. It seems endless and impossible to last long. That made us disappointed and a little guilty. We don't want our kids grow up in a messy home. Then I googled "home organizing service" to see if I can get some help, and found Thumbtack and Madison. We hired her because she responded us quickly, proactively and her profile looks very professional. During the first assessment session, we went through every room, she looked at problem areas, made lots of suggestions, and estimated the efforts. It was very helpful for us to learn some tips how to organize, how to decide which things to donate, how to make life simpler, and be realistic about this work. In the day one, she completed 75% of garage, removed some clutters, opened lots of boxes and even found many missing stuffs we were looking for lately. We had many discussions about where to put things, how to organize the space, etc,. and she did a great job to make garage a new look. For example, she suggested bike storage solutions, the cap/hat storage solutions, cleared a viable homework table for repairs, etc. and for laundry, cleared shelving and unearthed items shelved that were previously unknown, filled two carloads of donatable items for donation and tax deduction, separated out holiday decor, shoes, clothing, toys, earthquake preparedness materials, and so on. She also filled all trash cans with recyclables and trash in all categories assessed debris and clutter surrounding the home, identified materials for toxic materials pick up/recycling. In the evening, she sent us a few emails with details and links to address some questions we asked, such as where to dump the waste, where to buy stuffs to hold the bikes on the wall, etc. She really spent lots of time to think about us and help us. I really appreciate it. One thing I was worried is that even we can make our home well organized at once, it may not last long before it becomes unorganized again. I thought it was because we have too many stuffs and we should keep getting rid of them. Actually it is only half of the solution. She suggested us "Be sure that ONLY items like the ones in a particular spot, are placed in that spot". I think that's exactly the another half of the solution that we didn't realize. We used to mix different things together, and keep moving things around, therefore they were everywhere. We just started this project and it will take a few more sessions, but we become a lot more confident and believe we can make it and maintain it. I think it is wise to get some help from professionals if you really want to do something but couldn't get it done by yourself after a few tries. Time and peace of mind are more precious than money. We are very happy with Madison's service and help, and highly recommend her to anyone who wants their home to be well organized, or wants to learn how to do it.

I have worked with another organizer and had a very bad experience. Her helper was great but when the owner came she was terrible. I was very careful when hiring my next organizer and went through a couple others before finding Adjusting Space. Finally a professional who works hard and doesn't leave a mess at the end of the day even though the job is not complete. She schedules and shows up when she says she will and does a great job. I am very pleased with what we have accomplished so far, she is coming back tomorrow to work on a very long project. I will be hiring her for more projects, I have a list that she can do and will do.
Lisa is very personable and detailed oriented. Renu is a caring, determined and passionate interior designer. She converted my ‘house' into ‘home’ in no time. Renu listened, payed attention to details, and recognized my design taste immediately. She did my whole home, that is, bedroom, kitchen, living room, balcony - basically everything. Additionally, working with Renu, I got educated in various things about interior designing, de-cluttering, organizing home, where to do shopping for good things for excellent price. She can also advise on other things like junk removal contacts, home cleaning contacts and anything that comes in the way of interior designing. I found her to be a very trustworthy person. After the consultation - I did not need to be home to get interior designing done, I left my spare keys with her without worrying. Toni has been our organizer and personal assistant for almost 20 years. She is competent, organized and detail-oriented. While we travel, she takes care of all mail and bills. She has our paperwork down to a minimum, and keeps us up to date. At year end she comes up with all the figures we need in order to do our taxes. We could not live without her! (And she makes us laugh!)

I hired Lisa Kay with All In Place, Inc. to re-organize my overwhelming home office space full of un-filed paperwork and furniture that wasn't really useful. I really wanted to make my office filing system more functional and even find some space to fit a chair and a half in my office to double as a guest area. She more than exceeded my expectations. Now I am organized and love working out of my home office each and every day. She helped the furniture I really needed in that space work.
