Shannon was incredible. He arrived early, set up, and was professional all the way through! More importantly, he had the crowd going. EVERYONE had a good time and complimented me on how fun it was. From getting us to do the Cupid shuffle to helping emcee our costume contests, Shannon took the reigns and just drove the fun! We had such a blast. I'm recommend him highly!
We just got married in May and originally my husband and I were going to try to do the music ourselves because we had a PA system and experience using it. However as it got closer to the big day, we realized it was just more than we could chew, to take care of the music and be the bride and groom as well. Then we found Joe! He was great and patient with such short notice. He was willing to work with us, as our budget was quite tight, and helped us find some creative solutions. He took our musical tastes into consideration, was personable as an emcee, and he even went the extra mile and caught some candid photos of the dance floor! If you book Joe for your event you won't be sorry!
So Young is the Shizz. I actually found Young through my brother. My brother got married at SF City hall in March of 2016. He rented out the entire rotunda. For those who don't know, that space is incredibly tricky to work with, not just as a result of the architecture and the strict limitations of this historic building, but for acoustic reasons as well! Young was so fun, and such an ease to work with, that I KNEW I needed him for my wedding. So fast forward 8 months, and I have to say, my experience with Young and his assistant was even better than I could have ever imagined. He worked with my half indoor/outdoor wedding with such ease! He's incredibly professional and organized He know's his stuff He asks you every question you'd need to have asked to make the event go smoothly He actually MIXES good music. He is a fantastic emcee. Not cheesy and a complete natural. And above all else, is a cool and fun guy who could probably do this in his sleep. He was worth every penny and then some. I had a budget for a DJ, but I can say without a doubt now, DONT SKIMP on the music. It really makes the whole night. I wish i had more siblings so we could keep hiring him!
I am a board member of a Phoenix-area charity foundation. We wanted to do something different this year at our annual signature fund-raising event and decided on a magician for entertainment. That turned out to be the best decision!! We contracted Mark Stone to walk the crowd and perform magic tricks. In addition we also asked Mark to act as an "emcee" to make announcements (silent auction, drawings, etc). He was excellent at that as well !! I would highly recommend Mark and would definately use him again at any type of event.
We want to thank Don from StylesEntertainment for making Lhanas Bat Mitzvah party such a huge success. We were so nervous before the party but Don assured us that everything would be OK, and it definitely was! It was actually more than OK, the party was absolutely fabulous! Everything went so smoothly--the music choices were perfectly coordinated, Dj Styles was amazing as the emcee and the dancers kept everyone dancing. You managed to please both the adults and the kids, which is no easy task! We have not stopped receiving compliments about how wonderful the event was from all of our guests. There was a lot of back and forth on hiring a DJ for our wedding. At the very last minute (three weeks before the event) we made our decision. I admit I was a bit anxious thinking it was to late in the game to find anyone available. After a few brief email communications with Aaron we were all set. I am so thankful for his flexibility and availability. His response time was speedy and we were able to sort out all the music and sound needs. He was on point for every transition and created the entire vibe for our wedding. So happy we were able to collaborate with him for our wedding day!

Porter DJ'd and emceed my wedding and it was a huge success, thanks to him! For months beforehand, Porter was very diligent and asked a lot of questions about my venue and about my musical needs. He even went out of his way to make sure he'd downloaded the correct versions of our entrance & first dance songs, which was a very appreciated touch. The best thing about Porter is that he's got GREAT musical taste, and a very good ear for what's appropriate in which setting. At my wedding, he played 70s easy listening songs before the ceremony as guests were arriving; he played 50s quiet jazz standards during the dinner; and the very best 70s/80s/90s songs after dinner that got everyone, of every age, on their feet! Everything was perfectly timed and loved by everyone. He also charges MUCH less than other high-quality DJs in the Bay Area. I highly recommend Porter for DJing any party you are planning!
Kay is a really good host. She is professional and definitely knows how to talk to your audience with a couple jokes so that everyone feels comfortable. I highly recommend her for your event

DJ Matteo has been the emcee for our school's fundraising comedy night for three years. Held at Yoshi's Oakland, with nationally recognized comedy talent including J.R. Havlan, Hari Kondabolu, and Lisa Ann Walter, this event is our signature fundraiser of the year. Teachers, staff, families, donors, and corporate sponsors all mingle together and have a great time thanks in no small part to Matteo's skills as a host and DJ. He's a charming and talented entertainer and professional in every way. Book him!
