Introduction: My work stands out for many reasons. When it comes to yoga, I was trained and certified in India. I went to several different ashrams and teachers to get a better understanding of yoga and its origins. Because of this, my style is more traditional and I am able to incorporate more into my yoga sessions than just the asanas (postures). There is much more to yoga than just the asanas but if you go to a yoga class here in the bay area this is all that they mostly focus on. One thing that I also can incorporate is meditation, I have training in different types of meditation and can find the one that is best suitable for each person. I can also incorporate a shamanic journey at the end of a yoga session as well. As for my healing and therapy practice, I stand out because I have several different tools to help a person holistically. What I mean by holistic, is that we are much more than the body, we also have emotions, thoughts, and a spiritual aspect to us which I can address through the different healing modalities I have learned. The amazing transformation I see in people after working with them.It's like they walk away a whole new person.
