- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you're interested in working together, the first step is always hear more about what you're looking for, answer any questions you may have, and explain how everything works. If you decide you want to move forward & book a shoot, all that is required is a signed session agreement that outlines the terms of the shoot. The session agreement will be sent via Hello Sign & can be signed electronically. I'll then follow up with an email confirmation, including any details for the day of the shoot. I do my best to respond to emails within 24 hours, to answer any questions that may come up in the meantime & will check in to confirm with you the day before the shoot. For headshots & portraits, I spend the first 10-15 min. discussing wardrobe concerns and setting up lighting that feels right for the shoot. I'll guide you with posing & direction & do my best to help you relax & have fun. I'll show you images as we go along, and adjust as needed to make sure you feel great about your images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self-taught in photography. I started taking photographs in 2011 and have been shooting professionally since 2015. Before making a transition to photography, I spent ten years working in art & design in New York City.
