About this pro
She was right on time, which was nice, and a very friendly lady (a bit on the chatty side). She did a great job on a few things -- the oven looks particularly good. But we were a little underwhelmed by the overall clean. She also took smoke breaks, which is her right, but then trailed around a smell of cigarettes in the house, which felt a bit strange. I specifically noted in our initial job request that we wanted a clean of the fridge, but the side trays in the door were not cleaned at all. Some of the faucets, sink and shower, looked to have been hastily wiped down. She also left several snacks she'd brought for herself in our fridge.Mar 28, 2018Verified
I am thrilled to have found Deana's Housekeeping through Thumbtack! Deana's work is top-notch and thorough. She is a true professional, taking pride in her work and doing a great job. If she commits to do something, she does it. She is punctual, reliable and a caring person as well. We are looking forward to a long working relationship with Deana’s Housekeeping. I highly recommend her services! (If I could give her more stars, I would!)Aug 30, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try not to gouge clients but at the same time I need to make a living too. Generally I will charge more the first time and less for future cleanings. Deep or one time cleanings are more , monthly more than bi-wkly and bi-wkly more than wkly cleaning. My prices usually vary between $100- $165 depending on condition and frequency of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I arrive I introduce myself then I ask them to show me their place and if there is any thing special they would like done. Then I see what needs to be done and I do it.usually starting in kitchen,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?20+ years cleaning has taught me a lot. I know HOW to clean, What supplies should and should not be used on which types of surfaces. And elbow grease is the best cleaner.
