Deidra is a master at her craft. I don't know where she hides her wings, but she is truly an angel and she can make any woman look like a goddess. Deidra did my make up for my wedding, as well as the make up for both moms and both sisters. We all looked and felt the most beautiful we'd ever been. She doesn't just do one type of make up for everyone - we each had our own unique look which downplayed the areas we were uncomfortable with and highlighted our best assets. She picked the colors that would be best for us as individuals, listened to our requests and desires, and then waved her magic wand (or magic make up brush in this case) and presto, we were magnificent! Deidra will make you look and feel like a celebrity ready for the red carpet, However, that's not even the best part. You will absolutely fall in love with her. She gave the most genuine compliments to each of us as we sat in the chair while she made us gorgeous. By the time we got out of the chair, not only did our faces look stunning, but we were glowing from the inside out. Deidra has the remarkable ability to bring out your inner beauty with her loving and heartfelt praise. I listened to her while she applied makeup to my mom, mother-in-law, sister, and sister-in-law..... she noticed something in each of them to admire, their skin, their smile, their eyes....and she freely and wholeheartedly lavished them with accolades. I could tell she wasn't just flattering them - she genuinely saw the beauty in each person and was compelled to tell them how lovely they were. Each of us got up from the chair transformed from the inside out. Deidra arrived early and was ready to go. She explained how she wanted the day to proceed and she kept us on schedule all day. She is so calm and patient and kind - she created the perfect atmosphere that made the day that much more special. She was fun and funny and had us all laughing and smiling throughout the day. She explained to me when she first got there that I'd be the last one to get my make up done but that in her experience, things get a little chaotic towards the end with photographers arriving, and all the last minute details that pop up the day of the wedding. She told me that she would make sure that when it was my time in the chair that nobody bothered me or stressed me out, and true to her word - when the nervous and excited energy in the room ramped up the hour before it was time to leave and I was getting my make up done, she was a total pro.....she graciously asked the jittery girls to step out and asked my sister to handle all the calls and questions and kept the chaos away from me. If you need your make up done for a wedding, or just cause it's Tuesday don't even think of contacting anyone else... Deidra is THE BEST!

My rates are not complicated and straight forward, and depend on the job and how big the group, and amount of hours required.

I get to know them by asking key questions about their style, and personal preference.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I work with a few high-end luxury brands that send me to seasonal schools and teach me the latest fashion week news, product launches, and new make-up techniques. I also plan to learn special events, and air brushes this summer 2014.
