Introduction: I work in aquaponic farming, which is a unique field of urban farming. My international work includes projects in India and Africa, and have I continually worked with students of all ages, K - Life, to teach aquaponics, urban gardening, mathematics, science, design, and critical thinking.
I love leaning as much if not more from my students as I am teaching. Food brings us all together, so I can get a fourth grader and a cardiac surgeon in the same class. It's always humorous how much better learners kids are than adults, it reinforces the importance of keeping things basic.
