Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have a student-centered approach, which involves being attentive to how the person learns and the caring for focus of their intentions -- what they hope to learn. I've been teaching private guitar lessons 'formally' since 2001, shortly after graduating from the Musicians Institute's professional guitar and recording arts programs. During the last six years, I have also been an instructor of music theory for audio engineering students as well as for students of psychoacoustics at the Globe Institute in San Francisco. This is college-level music theory presented in a condensed format with specific applications in mind. Myriads of nationalities, cultures, ages, genders and musical backgrounds accompany the people who make up those classes, and they have helped me develop the skill for relating this material to all manner of people simultaneously. As a result, my one-on-one classes are even more enriched. My goal is to help you reach your goals in the most simple and joyful manner. The basics of what I offer are as follows: * Guitar -- Most Styles, Beginner and Intermediate * Recording Software -- Logic, Ableton, Native Instruments, Etc. * Music Theory -- Beginner and Intermediate * Ear Training * Composition * Songwriting * Audio Engineering/Production -- Beginner * Inner Music Theory -- A Psychoacoustic/Sound Healing Approach * Piano -- Beginner I also offer a generalized musician package in which any or all of what I teach is thoughtfully organized for your goals. Included are basic vocal coaching, percussion rudiments and loads of other pertinent basics.
