Introduction: With over 20 years in the fitness industry I have quite a bit knowledge and experience to draw from. I have seen many trends in fitness and have studied many fitness modalities. I have learned that there are many ways to be effective and what works well for one may not work for others. The key to successful programming as a trainer is to have the education and experience to be able to find the right program that motivates the client, obtains the desired results, and is enjoyable. I love Helping people reach their fitness goals. I love teaching clients how to live an active healthy life style. The best is having a client reach the original stated goal, and then say OK whats next?

Mike and I have trained together for over 23 years. During this time, Mike introduced me to staying fit and its benefits. Mike has the amazing ability to keep each work out fresh, different, challenging, and to tailor it to your individual needs. In addition to strength training Mike introduced me to the benefits of stretching and Infused many different regains such as Yoga and Boxing into our daily workouts. Naturally as time went on and my body experienced the aging process, Mike was able to alter our workouts to my daily moods and body condition. Workouts were always challenging, never repetitious, and oh so beneficial. My life and health are so much more enjoyable as a result of my physical and mental well being. I am a big fan of working out and it is a direct result of Mike Andrews and his ability to meet my needs as a trainer.

I have been a long time client with Mike for over 11 years and I highly recommend him! I am an avid runner and was just getting into climbing and backcountry skiing I quickly learned that just putting in the miles was not working when I met Mike. He is "super" thorough, putting me through a conconi test to establish my training heart rates and then adding a circuit exercise program. This payed off huge results for my big objectives for climbing in Europe and back country skiing in Canada. Years later after I had my son and due to my schedule constraints I went to another trainer. It was just not the same. Mike is an excellent listener and can quickly zone into your weak areas. He never rushes the session and you can always follow-up with questions. As I have entered into the dreaded 50's Mike has incorporated yoga and core strength which has allowed me to climb two grades higher in a short amount of time. He is passionate about what he does and his fitness is infectious that is why we all want to be "fit like Mike"!

I began working with Michael upon the recommendation of our piedatricans who suggested I work with Mike so that I would be a better Father. I lost weight and became more self confident in my physical abilities and improved my tennis. Mike help me train for a trekking trip to the Himalayas in Napal. My children have benefited from having an active Dad and I highly recommend Mike he will help you reach your goals!!!

I have known Mike for over 10 years and began "working" with him as a rock climbing partner, soon expanding into mountaineering, mountain biking, running and hiking. Mike basically does it all. Over the 10+ years, Mike has provided me with extensive coaching and encouragement, sharing his knowledge and vast experiences of both outdoor adventures as well as in-gym workouts. Knowing Mike's lifetime commitment to fitness (both his own and helping others maximize their's), I could not promote Mike any higher! I work with Mike several times a week and am never dissatisfied with his level of commitment to my fitness goals.

    My advice to folks looking to work with a fitness professional is to make sure 1) You are working with a certified fitness professional with a nationally recognized certification. 2) Make sure the fitness professional is experienced with at least 2 years in the field. Even with the certification it takes a while to learn the best way to asses clients abilities prescribe the correct programing. 3) Check the reviews. See how other clients liked working with the fitness professional.
