Elite tutoring was very responsive to my request for a Physics tutor and I got an immediate reply from Eric. He was very helpful and followed up and got a tutor for my son. The tutor was prompt and he was well prepared and helped my son. Although I would have preferred someone with Physics tutoring experience, my overall experience working with Elite tutoring was good.

Dr. Oh is an outstanding tutor and person who is dedicated to helping others and will go the distance for them. Dr. Oh agreed to tutor our 11th grader for two evenings before his exam, and although it took Dr. Oh 1.5 hours to get there the first evening, Dr. Oh made the long trek to help him the second evening as well, true to his word and to ensure that he fully understood the materials. We greatly appreciate Dr. Oh's dedication, passion and integrity in preparing our 11th grader for his precalculus exam, and helping him understand the concepts behind the equations!! Thank you, Dr. Oh!!!! You are truly a gem!!

Yevgeny tutored my son for about 6 month to prepare him for SAT Subject test Math 2 and the Math portion of SAT. My son liked his style of teaching - giving small hints to guide him to find the right answer. In addition Yevgeny was able to explain complicated mathematical concepts in simple words. I strongly recommend Yevgeny as Math tutor.

Angela does the best job of explaining concepts for AP/SAT if you are trying to learn something outside of school. We did our tutoring over the computer, but I actually found it more engaging than in person. For example, I was confused about cos (180degrees), because I hadn't learned about it in school yet. Angela's explanation also made 10x more sense than what my math teacher would say. Now I FINALLY understand how to find cos (180degrees)!

It is very difficult to find an AP calculus tutor who knows what here she is talking about. Then I had heard of Arbor Tutors through a friend and called them. The tutor met me at the library every Saturday for 12 weeks and completely turned around my grades. I went from a C average to a high B+ and now I'm starting to get A's. Yay for Arbor Tutors!

Honestly, I can almost guarantee that once you are tutored by Leo you will not want to be tutored by anyone else. I graduated with Leo from UC Berkeley (also with a mechanical engineering degree, we were in many classes together) and he was always the first person I would think of asking for any help. Not only does he really really REALLY know his stuff, but he can communicate in a way that anyone can understand. Let me put it plain and simple: You will get better grades in your math/physics courses if you use his services. He really helped me and he can help you too. Good luck!

Sylvia is tutoring my daughters in Spanish. They never had Spanish before, and when they moved to a new school, the level of Spanish is very advance for someone who never had the lessons. Sylvia works with them in getting them up to speed. In a short time, both my children had become comfortable in following the lesson at school, and I have noticed that both of them have made quite significant improvements. My oldest daughter tells me that once she is comfortable with her Spanish, she wants to start French with Sylvia. I am sure that if either of my kids need tutoring in Math, Sylvia would be the one we go to. If your child or children need extra help in academic, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you call Sylvia. My children are very happy with how she teaches. Sylvia is also opens to different approaches in teaching. If my kids want more challenge, all they have to do is tell Sylvia and she will give them challenging lessons.

About

I have a unique combination of academic and industry success. I have experience tutoring students at the high school and college level as well as experience in mentoring young engineers during summer internship programs. I have a passion for working with young people, and I get excited watching their confidence in themselves grow. I know what it takes to be successful as a student and how that knowledge can be applied in future science and engineering roles. I would like to make some brief comments about my reliability. In order to become a high level engineering professional organization and reliability are minimum requirements. One of my main strengths as a professional is my ability to multitask and organize multiple simultaneous projects.
