Danielle is absolutely amazing! She helped me with every facet of planning through to the evening where she was the most perfect mixologist. Throughout the process of planning my party we communicated on a regular basis. With her recommendations we came up with three signature drinks for the evening based on what guests would like. However she also mixed anything requested so everyone was very happy! In addition to the signature drinks and cocktails she suggested wines to be served including the quantities to purchase for the size of the party. This was so helpful! She makes the most beautiful cocktails with the freshest ingredients. She arrived early, was beyond professional and so very, very friendly. Danielle is incredible! Danielle does not charge enough for the services she provides! Thank you Danielle! I hope I have an opportunity to hire you again!!!

My company hired Danielle to lead a virtual wine class for roughly 20 attendees. She put together tasting packages for each attendee complete with little food pairings that she hand delivered along with an informative pdf of maps and general information for us to follow along during the presentation and to keep for future reference. The lesson lasted just under two hours and she was incredibly informative and engaging the entire presentation. I was a lot of fun and a great team building experience for us! Covid required us to host this event remotely, but I look forward to hiring her in person for a similar event in the future!!

Danielle, hosted the wine testing at my birthday party. She was Amazing! Danielle was very knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing and easy to work with. I was impressed with her knowledge of wine and was exactly what I was looking for. If possible, I would hire her again. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. I wish I had more events to organize or weddings to plan just so I could hire Danielle again and again. There were so many challenges for my best friend’s wedding; Covid did a number on the event with venues, services, and even guests cancelling. This wedding turned into a more intimate back yard endeavor that, with Danielle’s help, was elegant and sophisticated in its own right and as much fun as I’ve ever had, even at the biggest and fanciest ceremonies. Her liquor and wine knowledge is extensive but never pretentoius and even when the line at the bar started to grow, no glass ever was left wanting or needing to be filled. She arrived early - poised, polished and very presentable - and set up quickly. Her bar was organized and inviting. The cocktails, including those created for the new couple, were poured well with care. She was professional throughout, but still managed to feel like she was close to the guests. Clean up was fast and complete, with minimal waste and nothing left undone. Communication throughout, from initial inquiry to post event follow up, was timely and specific. I can’t help but feel we only touched upon her abilities and I could only imagine what we would have seen from her in a wine-centric scenario or in more normal times. Book her soon and early before I fill her calendar with my own events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sommelier services can vary depending on what experience you would like - a full class versus a wine pairing dinner for example - and also taking your wine budget into consideration. I am super reasonable and try to work with all budgets because I enjoy my work so much, I'm always looking for chances to do it!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we would schedule a phone consultation and you would tell me all about your gathering and what you'd like from a sommelier. From there I would curate the tasting according to your interests (or food pairings) and put together some learning materials to enhance the lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers and I have worked in the wine industry since 2012 in New York City including restaurants, retail and importing. I have endless hours of experience presenting wine to a variety of skill levels ranging from complete novices to industry professionals, so I know how to gauge an audience.
