About this pro
Jean K K.
Keenan shot my wedding and his photos were absolutely stunning. He even went to a car show with my husband on the morning of our wedding and got some incredible photos of my husband and his friends that I cherish! We had some hiccups during the day but Keenan rolled with the punches and caught our beautiful day for us. Cannot recommend him highly enough!Apr 4, 2016
Keenan is an exceedingly personable photographer with a natural ability to capture the moment. Keenan's ability to work with and photograph *people* is the reason I've hired him for several special family occasions: graduation photos, engagement shots, portraits, and baby's first postcards for Mother's Day and Father's Day. Dude's images are essentially a part of the family now. Highly recommended.Apr 4, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always look for fair pricing, based on what actually has to be done. My rates include everything (editing, taxes, prints, etc), so there are no hidden fees. I use a base rate that covers costs and the first hour of shooting. After that, I charge by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know who I'm working for and with, so I can deliver the best results. I like to have meeting or a phone call (depending on the job), and to chat about ideas, set dates, and get details. During a shoot I like to keep things relaxed and open. Sometimes there's a natural warm-up period for me and the client. It depends on what kind of photos we're making. I like to show clients how the photos are coming out. I like to tackle the important shots first and last, with ideas and experimenting in the middle. In all, I like to work organically, based on who you are and what you're looking for and what's available to us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I learned photography in SF, self-taught and mentored in photo-journalistic style. Since 2007, I have shaped my abilities and style into work that I enjoy, often stealing bits of wisdom and generally great things from other photographers who's style I like.
