I had a great experience at the Magnolia Massage & Holistic Health Service (San Francisco). Jennifer was courteous and skillful. Being 7 1/2 month pregnant, I have muscle tension in several areas of my body. Her massage offered a good relief.
Stephen is very energetic and very passionate. After a discussion to explain what I (don't) know about health and nutrition, we were on our way! Some personal and business issues have interrupted the regularity of my training, July will be rough, but soon we'll be on a more regular schedule which I know will bring me closer to my goals.I'm excited!!
My review is for Jessie. She has been an incredible trainer to work out with. She's knowledagble, dedicated and truly cares about the health, wellness and fitness of her clients. She also has the unique ability to train people with limited resources (e.g. my gym doesn't have all the equipment a full gym would have). Additionally, her flexibility makes it really easy to work out with her, given my constantly changing schedule. Overall, Jessie has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!
Evan is the best trainer I've had, and I've been through a few. He is a master at designing workouts that are effective, stay interesting, and challenge me just enough to help me move to the next level. He meet his clients where they are, including overweight doubters with weak joints like me. I was out of shape, wary of exercise, and convinced I was too old and broken down to benefit from a real physical fitness regimen. One year later, I'm amazed at the strength and agility I've gained, and I definitely don't mind that I've dropped a couple of clothing sizes, too! I still have a lot of work ahead of me to reach my weight and exercise goals, but now I actually know they are attainable. Between his workouts and extensive nutrition information, he's given me whole new perspective of health and fitness. Regardless of whatever condition you're in at the moment, I feel confident that Evan can help you reach new goals. I can't recommend Evan highly enough.
I've been working out with John for over 3 years, and he has transformed my body. He helped me lose about 13 pounds before my wedding. He's more than just a personal trainer - he's a life and health coach as well. I know if I have any questions about health or what I should be eating, I can always send him a note, and he'll respond. Sandra is an incredible personal trainer. I have been training with her for a month now and I am already noticing improved stamina, better form, motivated to workout. She tries to achieve a great balance of maximizing results without causing injury. She focusses a lot on delivering proper form. Sandra understands exactly what I need to do and provides me with tailor-made exercises that fit my level -they are not easy, because they shouldn't be. Each exercise challenges my limit and makes me feel proud! She ensures that workouts target areas that are important for good general health (i.e., legs, back, core). Overall great person, great attitude, a very knowledgeable trainer. Would highly recommend her.

A little information about me. I've been overweight most of my life and have tried countless programs to lose weight and to regain my health. One thing I had never tried was personal training. In December 2016, I found Scott Meade through Thumbtack. Scott was the first Personal Trainer to respond to my inquiry. I felt an immediate connection with him. He invited me to meet him at the gym on a Sunday. He wanted to give me a tour of the gym and for us to have a casual chat. As an obese female, I was extremely nervous to meet him. He made me feel at ease and I appreciated the time he spent with me talking about his passions; exercise and nutrition. I sensed how genuine he was. His excitement is what jumpstarted my excitement to begin this journey with him. I started training with Scott on January 2nd. Here are just a few reasons why I need Scott besides me on this journey: 1) The guy knows his stuff. Not only is he physically fit, but he's also smart. He stays current in his field and never hesitates to share new information to help develop my knowledge. He doesn't just tell me what to do, he provides reasoning and teaches me along the way. 2) He believes in me more than I believe in myself. He never allows my mental blocks to stop me from doing my best. He's positive and encourages me to tap into my positive spirit. Not always easy. 3) He's responsive and organized. He stays on top of my nutrition and provides feedback on what I'm doing well and what I need to change. He doesn't sugar coat things because that's not how we achieve results. Totally makes sense. 4) He's creative with his workouts and thinks outside of the box. Workouts are never repetitious which helps keep me dialed in. I like the variety he incorporates in my plan. 5) When I'm in the gym with him, it's about ME. I could go on and on about Scott. If you're looking for a Personal Trainer, reach out and meet him. You won't regret it. Meeting Scott was one of the best things that happened to me.
Aria is an amazing coach. I am an Adult beginner. I’ve been around water , but never learned how to swim and very uncomfortable inside water. Its been now 3 lessons and I am already getting comfortable and don't panic as much as first time. Aria has been a great help. She is very creative and teaching me patiently.She answers all my silly questions and also always on time for the class. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to hire Personal Instructor for the swim lessons.
It's an exceptional experience to have someone be "team you" from the moment you meet them. Kenny is your number one supporter and your greatest challenger from the moment you commit to your journey. He definitely has the knowledge and the experience to get you to your fitness and health goals, but he has the heart too. Man, where do I begin. Since day one Dante has always followed through on his promises. His words were, "in two weeks you will feel it, it four weeks you will see it, and in six weeks you will hear it!" When I heard someone tell me that I'd lost weight, that's when u knew I had invested in myself! I've been working out for years on my own, since I played football in high school actually. I know a lot, but Dante showed me a new world of fitness, and a whole new way of life in the gym. His workouts never repeat, and his exercises are his own. He's definitely a coach and a motivator. He pushes you! That's exactly what I needed. A push! I would never push myself the way he pushes me. I highly recommend him as you're coach.
