FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always going to classes offered by my materials suppliers. Being "in-the-know" when it comes to innovative new products is essential for staying ahead of competition and offering the best products pertaining to your clients. There are always new materials and machines to learn - and it's important to stay on top of that knowledge. One of my favorite learning-opportunities is going to the concrete convention they hold in Las Vegas, NV every February. There are always new vendors there and it's great to talk with the people who make my tools and products I use everyday.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Driveways, patios, walkways, foundations, foundation repair, retaining walls, brick and stonework, pavers, and all finishes - stamped, broom, exposed, inlayed stone or brick. We also do epoxy floor coatings, overlays and acid staining.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the contractor has good reviews, references upon request, a contractor license, and pictures of jobs or locations to go to so you can see the workmanship in person.
