FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of the estimates I provide are for labor only. I prefer the customer provide materials since their cost can widely vary based on their quality and the customer preference. We recognize seniors over 55 and apply minimum estimates since many are on fixed incomes. We respect our Veterans with discounts on all work to say, Thank you for their honorable service and courage protecting us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to talk to customers so I can fully understand their projects, it's importance and to set acceptable completion time frames. Then I set appointment to go see the project, however, in some projects I am able to give a very close (if not spot on) estimate from photo's if provided. I prefer to have customer communications during each step of the project so I am fully vested in their vision. Lastly, complete the project that exceeds expectations. Customer satisfaction is crucial.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I became a California Licensed Real Estate Broker lic #00683161 and flipped properties for over 10 years by doing the remodeling, upgrades and repairs myself to gain additional profits. There is not a whole lot I don't know about home construction, however, I never pursued licensing as I was an owner-builder on my own projects and a license is not required. I am a residential appraisal expert so I understand state and local city laws and building codes & requirements.
