I rarely give reviews...but what an amazing photographer! Maxam took a series of family portraits at our place. He made us all look our best with very clear, professional, perfectly edited and compositional pleasing. The photos had our friends and relatives buzzing over them. Definitely recommend Maxam Photography to anyone who wants to benefit from his incredible talents.

We needed a photographer for our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and through Thumbtack, found Michael Maxam. This was a long distance arrangement for us and all done over the phone, so there was a lot of faith put into Michael that he was what he said he was and his execution of their anniversary completely restored my faith in good people again. He was promt, professional, relaxed, easy-going and very patient since we as a group were late, chaotic, and disorganized. His photos captured the event for exactly what it was, an event celebrating the love of a couple and the sheer joy of having friends & family around them! He did a great job and we couldn't have been more pleased. We are so grateful for the memories he preserved for us through his beautiful photographs!

I hired Michael for my wedding day shooting in Sept 2014. He and his assistant Kelly are simply fantastic! They are easy to work with and very professional. Michael talked with me in details about how I wanted to shoot my wedding day, and went through the specific requirements that I had for the shooting before the wedding day. He is very detail-oriented, and even reminded me to bring the towel and tennis shoes for the outdoor photo shooting. He and Kelly arrived on time, and started to shoot immediately. He extended our shooting for about 1 hour to just give us enough nice shots. He enhanced more images than what was required in our contract. We obtained our high-quality images within 3 days. Overall I am very satisfied with Mikes work and I would definitely go back to him in the future!
