I would recommend Walk on Wood to anyone needing wood floor refinishing. My 30 year old floors are beautiful and Gary addressed all of our concerns. I couldn't be happier...Great Company! ! !

We hired this company to remove the carpet in one of our bedrooms and refinish the hardwood floor underneath. We were preparing for the arrival of our baby boy and wanted to upgrade the nursery with some nice floors. They did an amazing job and managed to match the color of the final flooring to my existing wood floor in the rest of the home. Overall great experience.

Even though Gary did not perform any wood flooring related work at my house, I could not refrain from providing this glowing review for Gary. Gary was very professional from my initial contact on Thumbtack through follow-on discussions and coordination with him to come out to provide an estimate. Not only was Gary very accommodating, but also very professional about his communication and follow-up. Gary receives 5 stars because unlike all the other professionals who were invited to give an estimate, he gave a total honest assessment of the situation. While others provided estimates that were in the thousands of dollars, Gary looked at the flooring and informed me that it was in really good condition and nothing needed to be done besides DIY cleaning with a non-wax and non-oil based cleaner. He also mentioned that the current factory finish on the wood was better than any finish that he would be able to apply and to reach out to him in 5-7 years, if needed. Incredibly amazing for him to forego an opportunity to make money and instead provide an honest consultation and simply do the right thing. I can't thank Gary enough for his professionalism and honesty.
