I had some questions regarding renting out a room. Tawny was quick to respond to my questions and was patient enough to walk me through the process of listing the space. Her responses were easy to understand and were almost immediate. I really appreciated her help because it was my first time renting out the room. Thanks Tawny!Apr 7, 2018

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I want people to be fully informed about the process. The last thing I want is for someone to enter into a business transaction not having all the facts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Business, a law degree with an emphasis in real estate and estate planning, and I'm currently going to school to get my Masters in Real Estate. I also attend seminars and webinars, read articles, and actively seek to stay on top of new regulations pertaining to rental properties, and credit and debt management.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was originally hired to collect default rent. Apparently, I was very good at it because they hired me as a full-time assistant within a couple months. I was never rude or disrespectful (everyone has their own reason for being unable to afford rent), but I was adamant that payment was needed to remain in residence. My first collection turned into an eviction, but afterwards she came up to thank me for being so nice to her during the process. She hugged me and said she was grateful to me for not ever putting her down.
