The kids at my daughter's 5th birthday party loved it. He brought little music shakers for all the kids so they felt like they were in a band. And great music to listen to as you're eating and hanging out with friends. Thanks Tucker

I've been taking guitar lessons with Kimberly since the beginning of 2011. At the time I'd had several years of lessons using a traditional method on acoustic guitar and was looking for a teacher who could help me focus on electric blues rock and move me beyond my intermediate skill level. Kimberly has a real focus on and talent for teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet my interests. A large part of the lesson is devoted to learning her method for blues soloing--at least 5 approaches to improvisation and comping. After several years, I've come to see how these approaches interweave, complement each other and have become an intuitive part of my musical vocabulary. Also, because I expressed an interest, part of the lesson involves sight reading, learning blues and jazz theory, developing rhythmic playing sense, and learning a few favorite solos. Kimberly has an amazing ability to tab out and teach any song you give her. Which leads to the best part--after 6 months I was invited to play with one of her ensemble classes. While I was absolutely petrified with fear at the beginning, this has turned into one of the highlights of my week every week. It is just downright fun! It's a safe and forgiving environment where you can make mistakes and learn, or try things out that might flop, or turn into something cool. Every teacher and guitar magazine article all point to the need to play with other musicians to develop your skills and this is where Kimberly Allison really delivers. I feel that I could now sit in with other musicians and contribute. I give my highest recommendation for taking lessons with Kimberly.

Best money we spent on our wedding! I can’t even tell you how beyond thrilled my husband and I are about the amazing job Tyler did performing at our wedding. It truly made our already special day beyond amazing! We wanted something that would get the party started right off from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. Can’t tell you how many people commented on how amazing it was to have Tyler playing saxophone. Tyler played keyboard during our ceremony. I am getting chills just thinking about it now, but the moment I heard him playing just before I walked down the aisle, the emotion of the day hit me like a wave. From our quick ceremony and onto the cocktail hour Tyler’s playing brought life to our guests and to us. Tyler was excellent at communicating both with myself, our DJ and our planner. He was so organized and thoughtful with our day! I don’t think I could thank him enough times. It was more than we could have ever imagined. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Tyler!! We loved rock band Reckless. They have a great repertoire and well rehearsed. Voices and talents are excellent. I could not have asked for more. We hired them for a surprise birthday party and our guests loved them. Kim the band leader has her act together and responded promptly to any and all questions. Super easy to work with and a wonderful addition to your party. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Taylor created a very professional, radio ready song for me. He works extremely fast and knows how to construct modern music that sounds like he hired a full band. The mix was fantastic music and singer alike. I highly recommend Taylor for your project.

We hired this wonderful band for our wedding. They went above and beyond to make our day extra special and worked with our budget. They even learnt our special song requests and all our guests absolutely would not stop raving about how amazing the band was. I would highly recommend.

My son started formal drum lessons with Steve two and a half years ago. Steve set the bar on professionalism, flexibility, communication, and has the patience to teach music to younger kids. My son went from a kid banging on a toy drum, to a musician that could play drum set rhythms in an elementary school jazz band. We've had other instructors since Steve left the Los Alamitos area but none of them compared to his high level of attributes listed earlier.

The John Brown Band played the Redondo Beach 4th of July Block Party and had the whole neighborhood rockin' out all night long. What a party!! After I heard them play, I knew I wanted to hire them for my wedding in San Diego on August 29. We had a great experience working with John and would recommend them in a heartbeat. The #1 comment from our wedding guests was how awesome the band was!! Upbeat song selection, dance-ability, and timing were perfect, even with no rehearsal on the Bridal Party Entrance!!! They even played a very special song (Harvest Moon) which I had totally forgotten to request - just perfect. And we got some GREAT pictures. :)

Lucas is great! Equally at home with country, blues and gospel, as he is with David Bowie or Pink Floyd or classical or jazz or whatever. He is a ardent lover of many musical styles and an enthusiastic teacher! I got to learn by choosing songs I wanted to play, he took time to transcribe the chords and turn into valuable lessons. Great experience, great guy!

I've been involved with the LAPC for about 3 years, using it for production and most currently as a rehearsal space and attending the weekly open mic. James has flawlessly mixed albums for my previous band and has produced amazing music with my current project. As a rehearsal space, the sound and equipment are quality along with it being a unique aesthetic in itself, setting a creative and motivating vibe. The colorful lighting and tree-sized mural lining the hallway makes you want to play like you're in a music video. The open mics are a great place to share a fresh song, or meet new people and artists weekly. I can't speak highly enough about the abundance of love and talent that is at L.A. Producers Club! Highly recommend, if nothing else, coming by to hang out under the disco ball teepee and hear some comedy and jams on a Wednesday night!

I'm really glad I booked Yechan! Very easy to work with and nice. He sings beautifully. It's like a mix of an angelic tone with soul/blues. Highly recommend booking him if you're looking for someone who is more soulful than hypeman.
