Valet parking, security, and clean up crew for wedding at private estate in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Eddy personally handled my wedding needs with the utmost care and professionalism. He arrived the day before while the other vendors were setting up to inspect the estate, and also was present both during the Saturday wedding as well as Sunday clean up. I greatly appreciate his firm being able to provide/handle all my service needs. The valets promptly and courteously parked all my guests vehicles while serving as the front line in guarding against tourists from entering the estate. All the valets had uniforms on as well as the security guards arrived in a black suits with ties. Every guard did their job while courteously addressing all my guests. Finally, the clean up thoroughly cleaned the estate the next day with no damage. Eddy and his crew did everything they were supposed to do, and did so professionally, courteously, and promptly. Incidentally, one of my wedding guests used Eddy's service for his Malibu wedding in 2014, and was equally satisfied. The host/owner of the estate also enjoyed Eddy's service, and though I have not followed up, indicated he would use Eddy. Lastly, Eddy is a retired policeman. What this potentially means is that he has a way to chat up other police officers in case you need help managing police when you party or event may run a tad long into the evening or is too loud ;-)

Megan and her team go above and beyond to create a unique and personal experience for they clients. I have seen them in action on multiple occasions, and they do FAR MORE than just floral design. They are able to offer complete event coordination, wait staff, all sorts of goodies. They are prompt, courteous, efficient, and tireless in their efforts. They are unwavering in their commitment to excellence and work with a gracious, upbeat, and professional demeanor. As a business owner myself, I've worked with hundreds of planners and florists (never the two in one though!), and can honestly say I would hire Megan for my own events, IN A HEARTBEAT. Mark is a fabulous chef, event planner and host. His Pacific Rim influenced cuisine is beyond belief. Every time we've hired Mark to cater events/parties my guests ask for some of their favorites, including his coconut shrimp and his ahi tuna tartare. My family even requested him to cater a special Christmas dinner - a delicious memory as always with Mark Kearney. Whether an intimate dinner party or grand event - Mark's the best choice!

I decided to look for a caterer for my Mom's celebration of life and my internet search lead me to Thumbtack. After inputting my needs I quickly received a response back from Tonya at Sierra Madre Catering with a detailed quote and attached menu. When I called to speak with Tonya I immediately got a good vibe from her voice. She seemed excited and eager to help plan our event and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I am so thankful I decided to use Sierra Madre for my event. We ordered appetizers and desserts and they arrived and set everything up, brought their own trash cans and kept the tables clean as people were done eating. The staff was professional and nice and their food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests gave feedback that the food was great and they even ran out of business cards because a lot of people were interested in having their info. At such a difficult time with the passing of a loved one, these details are important but not ones you want to worry about yourselves and Tonya and Sierra Madre staff took that burden off my shoulders and I am so thankful for that. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer for any event and if I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! Thank you Tonya and Sierra Madre Catering!!

Marie and her team did an amazing job with our wedding. She not only coordinated the event but also officiated the ceremony. The ceremony was heartfelt and everything we wanted it to be. Leading up to the wedding Marie was always helpful and continued to reassure me that our big day would be perfect. We hired Marie as our day of coordinator, so although she was not responsible for planning the entire event she did a great job of guiding me along the way and always had helpful advice and was more than willing to help with anything I needed. She and her team definitely know what they're doing, I myself am a bit of a control freak, as many brides are I'm sure, I found it hard to trust someone else with this event. However once I stopped doubting the process Marie definetly brought it all together beautifully. I had my reservation after reading some prior reviews that weren't the best, however Marie personally responded to each negative review and addressed the claimed complaint. I think a lot of people who hire a day of coordinator don't fully understand that you're hiring just that a "DAY OF" coordinator. She is there to help you along the way and really becomes involved the few weeks leading up to your event and then on the day of it's her time to shine. We had a couple snags the day of and she handled them all on her own and didn't even involve us in it, as to not create stress for us. Overall, Marie is great at helping create your dream wedding, follows your vision and puts it into place, she is pleasant to work with and takes great pride in her work. My event wouldn't have been what it was without her.

I hired Ricki, my Special Event Genie, to work her magic (and dedicated hard work) on my 70th Birthday Party. Every detail was absolutely perfect. Ricki kept in touch with me by phone, text and in person meetings from the day I hired her, came to my event hours early and stayed late to manage clean up. She knew every aspect of party planning from table position and centerpieces that maintain a theme to creative displays to timelines — All of my guests enjoyed interacting with her and everyone had a good time.

Ms. Eulina Davis was such a delight to work with, she helped us navigate through aspects of our wedding that we didn't even know we needed. We had a mostly DIY wedding and with every meeting we had she listened to our ideas and helped us narrow down what we actually needed and what would just be a waste of our time and money. We were trying to keep to a budget and she gave us fantastic budget friendly options for our event. The number one thing i can tell you from my experience, Is that in those last two weeks before your wedding, when you are starting to freak out about everything being finished on time and you feel like you're friends and family don't get it (eveb though they do, but you're a stressed out mess and can't see it) she's going to send you a text or give you a call, she will make you feel that support that you need and and ask you how she can help, take her up on it, delegate as much as you can, she truly is there to help you.

Mari Deno was absolutely amazing! I knew from the moment I met Mari that she was perfect to plan our event. I could tell she had a genuine passion and idealistic approach when it came to event planning. Her professionalism, patience and confidence put us right at ease and I felt comfortable letting her take control. Mari's attention to detail and organizational skills were outstanding. She made our World theme event an absolute success from beginning to end. Her creative decor, colorful displays and the most exquisite food displays were visually a feast for the eyes. Mari is budget conscious and offers very reasonable rates. She made our event enjoyable, stress free and easy. I hired Katheryne for my birthday dinner party of 20 and she was phenomenal. Not only did she cater to all my specificities (a lot!), she used all organic ingredients and came up with a menu to die for - she turned all the "classic" dishes into masterpieces! She and her staff are warm, friendly and patient and will be the first on my list of chef's to hire for all my future events. Request her cherry ice cream for dessert!

Karen is amazing! Words can't adequately express my appreciation of this wonderful lady. She did so much to make our event a success and to relieve the stress related to hosting a wedding. We hired Karen to be our "coordinator for the day" for our daughter's wedding. Even though the wedding was small (about 60 guests) and in our home, we wanted someone to help so that WE could be guests ourselves and enjoy the wedding. I did quite a bit of research before choosing and I'm so glad that we chose Karen. She has an infectious smile that puts you at ease immediately. She is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. She asked a lot of questions so that she would have a better idea of what we were envisioning. She had great practical ideas that helped with the flow of the event. We felt like we were in really good hands. When Karen arrived on the day of the wedding, she absolutely blew me away! I gave her a quick tour of everything that was happening and she just took it from there. It was like she was family and had been there a million times. She stayed two steps ahead all night and really made the evening stress free. She has a very unique quality in that she can take charge and provide direction in the nicest most nonabrasive way. When she lets guests know that it's time to move out to the patio for cocktails, or that we're ready for a toast, grand entrance, cake cutting etc. everyone listens and no one feels like they are being "bossed around". When guests left, she did so much to help wrap things up that I actually had to tell her to stop. She's so thoughtful. She pays attention to the smallest details and she really listens. I know Karen has done hundreds of events from large and elaborate to small and intimate. No matter what kind of event your planning, Karen will make it better and she will make your life easier! Thank you Karen for allowing us to relax and truly enjoy Maegan and Danny's wedding! Warm regards, Shelly and Bob

I hired Brittany and Betty, mother/daughter super team, for my garden wedding this past weekend. They were superb. I requested a lot of quotes and spoke with a lot of coordinators prior to choosing Fou de Joie; I choose them because from our very first conversation could sense they were very organized and meticulous with the details, a must for any successful event. They were extremely communicative throughout the process ensuring that all the small changes were recorded and planned for. They took so much stress off my hands and truly allowed me to enjoy the journey towards my wedding day. It was all so pleasant and as stress free as can be possible. On the day of the wedding, they arrived ahead of schedule, reviewed the timeline with all vendors and involved parties, and finally enabled a splendid reception and ceremony. I have attempted to get in touch with Natasha Cabrera several days now, via email and phone. July 1 was last correspondence with her. She quoted a price of 210. for 4 hours July 21 in mid San Diego. She sent a contract via e-mail and I included my credit card no and answered all requested questions. Now, with just two weeks until the party, I can't wait any longer and will need to book someone else. I am surprised with this, as Natasha had high energy and excitement about the party.
