The owner James Darnell performed the lion share of the work himself tiredlessly working from Dawn to Dusk until the Job was completed. The job was performed to my specifications and he threw in a few special touches where he felt appropriate to improve the quality of the job. I have additional painting to be done in the future. I will definitely use him again.

James was wonderful to work with. He took my sad, faded blue house and turned it into the cleanest, brightest white house in the neighborhood. I shopped around with six other contractors and PRP was one of the most affordable. That in no way is a reflection of his work. He used the highest quality Sherwin Williams paint (at no additional cost to me) and was meticulous in his work. I have already referred him to my own mom and neighbors. He and his guys are amazing. I am very, very happy with my home and will continue to refer him to anyone in need of a painter.

James was amazing. We just purchased our 1st home and it was in desperate need of a full exterior paint job. James and his crew got to work right away. His attention to detail shows in all steps of the process. He made sure we were all set up. He replaced weather stripping, cut back some shrubbery, painted exterior doors that we didn't even think to paint, replaced a peep hole, mounted some exterior lights(These are all things you would not expect of a painter) His pricing was very competitive, and he did not skip out on proper prep work and masking. We would hire James again without any hesitation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for 2 of the biggest painting companies in Sacramento for 13 years before I started my own company. I have my license, business license, & insurance so I’m covered. I’m big on safety & I make sure all my guys are doing it correctly & not taking any short cuts to complete the task at hand. All my equipment is new or only a couple years old so I cut down the risk possibility as much as possible. I constantly keep up with new products & techniques because the industry introduces new products constantly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I starting painting about 18 years ago in the summer to make some extra money. As time went buy & my skills increased it turned into a full time job.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently painted 3500 sq ft house in Stockton in 7 days. Home owner was very pleased with the job we did. Pictures on my profile.
