Introduction: I really love the freedom to pick and choose with whom I'm going to work. Much of this depends upon the type of project(s) they require and their goals for the writing once it has been completed. I take pride in the care and dedication I bring to my work, and to my clients' needs and situations. I'm an excellent listener, and find that this is most helpful when accurately providing what each client needs in order to reach their goals - whether it's a simple acceptance speech for an award, a movie script, or a novel. I would have to say that I also love the ability to write in a variety of styles - it keeps my work fresh and interesting to me, as well as hopefully to my clients & readers!

Cheryl was fantastic to work with! She had a great way of going through my story and enhancing it with little tweaks and grammatical fixes without changing the storyline. She got it done quickly and efficiently and was very good about communicating with me on how everything was coming along. I really appreciated all the time and effort that she put into making my manuscript even better. I would definitely work with her again!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would definitely want to see pertinent samples of a writer's work, in order to best determine if they are the correct choice of whom I should entrust my project(s). Any writer "worth their salt" should be happy to provide brief samples, both of completed work and 2 to 3 paragraphs "on spec" (i.e., that applies directly to your needs - this is what will truly tell the tale as to whether they're going to do a great job for you). Pay close attention to the spelling, grammar and writing style, not just during the time the writer is involved with your project, but from the very first written missive you receive (most likely an email). Detail-oriented professionalism should never be overlooked, no matter how large or small the amount of writing.
