After observing the excellent job that Lorraine does when giving lessons, I have referred many children to her. They not only learn the skill of horseback riding but also learn valuable horsemanship skills because Lorraine includes the catching, grooming and saddling of the horses into her lessons. I highly recommend Lorraine if you are looking for riding lessons for your child or even yourself!

I have been riding at Goldspirit Farm for about a year and a half. When I got there I could barely jump two feet without ending up on the horses's neck. Now I can confidently jump 3ft and placed at my first two eventing competitions. Susan is a great instructor and a even better horse person. The barn has a great atmoshere. We have derby days with potlucks. There are so many jumps and different configurations you can never get bored. Highly recommend checking it out!

I have ridden with Diane for 13+ years now and cannot say enough good things about her. Simply the best there is. If you are a beginner and want to learn to ride in a professional, fun and safe environment, give Diane a call. 3D Farms also offers high-level training for experienced riders in both dressage and jumping. If you are a horse-owner looking for a trainer, your horse will have top quality training and care at 3D Farms. If my horse could leave a review, he would give Diane 5 stars too!

Since I started training under Erika Campbell, I have since took First place in my Rookie Reining Show class at only my second Reining show! I was brand new to the sport of Reining and needed a lot of work on my riding skills. She has helped my overall riding skills immensely and given me the confidence I lacked. Erika makes training fun and she puts her heart and soul into training horses and riders. Whether you just want to be a better horsemen or go compete, Erika will help you accomplish your goals! She is very professional and one of the the hardest working trainers that I know. She cares about her clients and treats them like family. I would highly recommend her for any horse training services you need!

My boxer Lola started showing aggressive behavior towards other dogs in the last few months. She also didn’t listen to me when she was off leash causing major stress. Shay was able to show me amazing tips and tricks that worked with Lola and her behavior did a 180. She now listens when I tell her to come and also doesn’t pull me when walking. I no longer feel stressed out when I walk her or when she is playing with other dogs. Shay is incredibly knowledgeable regarding how to communicate with dogs. You see a complete change of behavior when your dog is around her. She also works with you and helps you communicate better with your dog. I feel a much stronger bond with Lola than I did before now that I have implemented what Shay has taught me. She also explains to you the psychology behind why your dog behaves a certain way and compares it real life situations with people, making it easier to relate and understand what your dog is experiencing when you talk or act a certain way towards them. Shay was able to spot things I was doing that were causing her behavior within just a few minutes. I thought I could just teach myself by watching tv shows such as Caesar Milan or reading online; but the few things I was doing wrong; I probably would not have known if it wasn’t for Shay’s abilities to read the energy between people and dogs so well. It was these little things that I didn’t even know I was doing. So glad to have found Shay and I hope to continue working with her for Lola!!!

Sam is a highly capable and knowledgeable instructor who recognizes the unique needs of individual students, is prepared for every lesson, and wants her students to enjoy their learning processes. She combines kindness with just the right amount of tough love to support students as they strengthen their riding skills. I recommend Sam to both new and experienced riders.

I have loved horses my entire life but was never in a position to own my own horse. I then spent 16 years helping rescue Thoroughbred horses, and finally at 50 years of age, I decided it was time for me to realize my dream. I wanted to adopt a rescued Thoroughbred but I had no idea how to handle or properly ride such a spirited animal. Had it not been for Dave Drulias and his patient and effective training methods, I would not have been able to realize my dream. Clear, consistent prompt communication. Attention to horse care and wellness that is second to none. Compassionate training of the horse that seeks first to understand, then to inspire a better performance rather than using force or coersion. Genuine respect and consideration for the owner/client. I have been riding for over 30 years and cannot say enough great things about Kelly Jennings and Cellar Door Farm.

About

Training Philosophy and Techniques Lessons videotaped consistently and uploaded to a private YouTube page so that clients can visually learn the concepts I am trying to teach. Weekly themes and lesson plans. Instruction and exercises progress through the week. Dissecting steps and building onto them every day leads to success by the end of the week. Every step ties into the next, and a great deal of time, thought and organization is placed in this process. We attend clinics with other professionals regularly, and schedule our own in house clinics when possible. All lessons are private, and if the need arises to combine riders, never more than three in a lesson. Clients are part of the process in training their horses. Feedback, suggestions questions, and open communication is encouraged. I dont just tell the clients what to do, I teach them the how's, why's, what's, etc of what they are learning. I maintain certain steps be completed before graduatiing to the next level. This creates riders and horses with strong foundations. Clients and horses are schooled at the levels and heights they are competing in. I am less concerned with the height of the jumps or ability of the horse and more concerned with the concepts being taught at that time. This ensures rider safety and prolonged health of the horse. I communicate what I teach because I ride and jump the horses myself. Concepts are better translated when the trainer experiences the same as the rider. This combines the art of training and instructing, often misconceived as the same thing, and creates a more successful program. The horses always come first. There will never be a class at a show, a lesson, or a jump that is more important than their health. My future goals as far as numbers of riders and horses is set very small. I feel that after a certain amount of horses, there is simply not enough time in the day to properly care for them all. I know every horse inside and out. I hold great value in family and friends, and in the memories created in a friendly barn environment. At the end of the day, its about my riders and my horses. We can learn, be serious, successful, and competitive but when that is all said and done, we can all embrace one another as a family. The barn represents for many the only place to escape the troubles and stresses of their lives. Creating and maintaining a relaxing environment for all my clients is of extreme importance to me. I protect and stand up for my horses as well as my riders. Any mistreatment of either one of them will not be tolerated. Love, and laughter are mandatory :) We hope you see the difference between us and others...... Jonathan
