Introduction: It the clients problem can be fixed in 10 minutes I only charge them 20 bucks for gas. No reason to sit and nit-pick and tell them they have other problems that they do not. I don't sit and spend 2 hours and doing that and tell them they have all these problems which they do not. Ether there is something really wrong or there is not. Most problems can be fixed in an hour or less. Virus Removal can take longer because of the Scanning and the speed of the system. I love my job because I love working on computers and have been build, fixing and learning about them for over 18 years. I was building long before the internet was public. I started out building Lantastic Dos Networking.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is 35 an hour. If I get a call for Exchange Server, Active Directory and more Advanced Stuff like setting up an Exchange server for Mobile Access I may charge 40.00 to 45.00 an hour for Advanced office networking and Citrix Metaframe or VMware setup.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always working with new software and run servers at home to keep up today with all new releases from Microsoft and am working on the new Max OS X 10.7 Lion Developers Beta Release. I am have a On going Exchange Server 2010 Project and am a registered Microsoft Beta tester.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to be a Chef in LA and my hobby was working on computers. It ended up what i was doing was way a head of what most people were doing at the time so I was offered a job in a Corporate office for Medical Software Development.
