In 20 years of having massages from several massage therapists Alyssa turned out to be the best, by far! I had her during her short stay in Santa Barbara and I was very sad to see her go back to be close to her family. The main points: she knows the body, she is fearless in working hard for the duration of a session, she is athletic and therefore has all the power and strength she needs (and more), she pleasant and considerate, real excellent personality. I miss her dearly!!
Nina is an excellent massage therapist. She lessons to what you say your having issues with and focuses on your problem areas. She is not your run of the mill robot like massage therapist who has a set routine that they do. She has the intuition to be able to lesson to what your muscle is telling her and adapt to what she needs to do to releive your pain. She can also just do a nice relaxing massage, if that is what you want or need. I happen to stress my body and mind at work and need a mix of a deep yet relaxing massage. I went to many places when I moved here to Florida and she was the best. I happen to have a bit more of a picky outlook on who works on me because, I myself am a therapist. All I can say is I'm jealous of all of you in her new area in California, because I no longer have her here in Florida. You will truly be happy you chose her as your therapist.
I had strained the muscles in my Lower back do heavy lifting and overdoing the cardio. I typiy run 3-6!miles per day aside from weight training and had been unable to for several weeks. My lower back muscles would spasm and not let up just from walking at a brisk pace... Running was not even possible. After my first trigger point massage with Maxx I was able to run a mile and a half before I started tightening. The next day I ran 2.5 miles and again over did it. When I showed up at Maxx's door step I was limping along like and old woman again. Once again I left his place feeling 100% better. I am almost 100% at this time thanks to his trigger point massage. It is amazing!!! No, it isn't nice a relaxing like a Swedish massage, but boy do I feel better afterwards! Aside from being a massage therapist, Maxx is a personal trainer and I really appreciate the knowledge he has regarding muscles and different exercises and body mechanics. I think this is what makes him stand out above the rest! Thanks Maxx!! See you soon!
Lynne is not your normal massage therapist. She has a unique knowledge of her craft learned over many years. I am taking violin lessons and my teacher is an okay teacher but her playing is nothing special. She is a good person and not young but it's like she got her skill level to where it is many years back and that is where it stopped. This is not the case with Lynne. She is constantly learning more things to improve herself. Her massages are like nothing I've ever received from a therapist at say a 4 or 5 star resort and I've had many of those. Those therapists are like my violin teacher. They are good but not really up to the high professional level of a player in a major symphony. I also love how Lynne is willing to share her knowledge and to help me to take better care of myself. She has also worked with me as a excersize therapist to help me better care from my back, which I have had problems with over the years. I would recommend Lynne to anyone who is looking for someone who charges a fair price but gives excellent service. I promise you, you will not be disappointed with your experience.
One of the best massages I've had in a very long time! I was very grateful that Ryan was very in tune with my comfort level when it came to the pressure of the massage. In past experiences, with other massage therapists, many neglected to ask me if the pressure was okay. It seems like a simple thing to ask, but Ive realized that many forget. Thankfully, Ryan asked me and I was able to tell him to adjust his pressure throughout the massage. As a female, Ive always been hesitant to get massages from male therapists, but Im glad I went with Ryan. Hes extremely professional and at no point did I feel uncomfortable. It didnt take long for me to completely relax. Especially after the deep tissue massage I requested. I went home feeling fantastic. I will definitely be reaching out to Ryan again. Thank you for healing my back!
Amazing deep tissue and Raindrop massages! Eric and Brittany are so knowledgeable about the body and natural healing, and the massages feel SO GOOD! Highly reccommend!!
